New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - An unattended, parked vehicle rolled forward and crashed into a residence in the 500 block of 14th Avenue. No injuries were reported when police responded to the scene at 10:26 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7. The residence sustained minor damage. The vehicle sustained minor to moderate damage.

• Allison J. Timmerman, 19, Belleville, lost control on a curve in the W5200 block of County W at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. Her vehicle veered onto the snow-covered shoulder, slid off the road and hit a utility pole, causing moderate damage to the vehicle and minor damage to the pole. The vehicle was driven from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Sunday, Dec. 9:

• Carol E. Gilbertson, 62, Blanchardville, was taken by Blanchardville EMS to a Dodgeville hospital for treatment of injuries she sustained in a rollover accident at 8:13 a.m. on Wisconsin 39 near York Valley Road. The driver, Burnell H. Gilbertson, 67, also of Blanchardville, was uninjured. He lost control on the snow-covered road, and the vehicle veered into the ditch and rolled over. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.

• Joshua J. Harris, 19, Hollandale, was uninjured in a rollover accident reported at 8:23 a.m. on Wis. 39 east of Hay Hollow Road in the Town of York. Harris lost control on the snow-covered road. The vehicle slid off the road, went down over an embankment and overturned onto its roof. It was moderately damaged and towed.

• Kendra S. Wirth, 37, Monticello, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident reported at 10 a.m. on Center Road east of Loveland Road in the Town of Washington. Wirth was negotiating a sharp curve when the vehicle lost traction, slid off the road into the ditch and collided with an Alliant Energy utility pole, snapping the pole off about 2/3 of the way up the pole. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.

• Daniel A. Bourquin, 40, New Glarus, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident reported at 10:58 a.m. in the Town of Exeter. He was southbound on County CC and attempting to turn onto Tunnel Road when he lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered road, slid into the ditch and hit an embankment. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene after it was towed out of the ditch.

• No injuries were reported at 7:24 p.m. after vehicles driven by Kristoffer M. White, 23, and Thomas J. Liebert, 59, both of Brooklyn, collided in the intersection of Smith Road and Amidon Road in the Town of Brooklyn. The vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Bradley A. Crist, 36, Mineral Point, reported no injuries at 7:58 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, after he hit a deer on Ferndale Road in the Town of Willow Springs. His vehicle was moderately damaged.

• No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on County G/Jericho Road in the Town of Belmont at 7:54 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8. Zachary J. Adams, 19, Cuba City, was northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, and the vehicle slid off the road and into the ditch. The 2001 Buick he was driving was moderately damaged and towed.

• Phillip N. Cline, 56, Argyle, reported no injuries at 7:58 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, after he hit a deer on Wis. 81 in the Town of Darlington. His vehicle was moderately damaged.

• Merlin F. Ramaker, 73, Cuba City, reported no injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Knee Deep Road in the Town of New Diggings at 7:17 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. He failed to negotiate a corner, and the vehicle veered into the ditch, down the embankment and hit a fence. The 2010 Honda SUV he was driving was moderately damaged and towed.

• Bobbi Jo Vine, 31, Highland, reported no injuries in a one-vehicle accident on County G in the Town of Belmont at 8:23 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. Vine failed to negotiate a curve due to the slippery road, and the 1996 Mercury he was driving went into the opposite ditch, where it hit a road sign and came to rest against several trees. The car was moderately damaged.

• Melissa J. Schreiber, 28, Darlington, lost control on Wis. 81 in the Town of Darlington due to the slippery road conditions at 8:47 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. The 2003 Pontiac Sunfire she was driving spun around in the road, crossed the opposite lane of traffic, veered into the ditch and hit a guardrail. Neither Schreiber or her passengers, Mark A. Ubersox, and Dylan J. Ubersox, 8, also of Darlington, reported injuries. The Sunfire was moderately damaged

• Heath J. Hartwig, 34, Darlington, and his five passengers were uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot at 11:35 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. Hartwig lost control due to the slippery road conditions, and the 2010 Chrysler van he was driving slid across the opposite lane and into the ditch, where it hit a road sign. The van was moderately damaged and towed.

• Barbara M. Zander, 53, Darlington, had to be extricated from the 2006 Kia she was driving after a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 81 in the Town of Darlington at 12:12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. A passenger in her vehicle, Erik Zander, 19, Darlington, was also injured. Both were taken by Rural Medical Ambulance to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The accident occurred when Marcus P. Gilberts, 21, Tulsa, Okla., lost control on the slushy and slippery roads, and his 2007 Chevrolet truck slid sideways and crossed the path of Zander's Kia. Both vehicles slid off the road and came to a rest in the ditch. Gilberts and his passenger, Donna Gilberts, 50, Darlington, reported no injuries. Both vehicles were extensively damaged and towed.

• Vincent Philip Lee, 31, and his passenger S. Min Lee, 33, both of Monroe, reported no injuries after Lee lost control of his 2007 Subaru and the vehicle slid off the road into the ditch on County F in the Town of Fayette at 1:29 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. The Subaru was moderately damaged and towed.

• Pamela A. Gould, 59, Darlington, reported at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, that she hit a mailbox earlier in the day on County F in the Town of Fayette. She had lost control of her vehicle during the snowstorm. Gould was uninjured. The 2006 Pontiac she was driving sustained moderate damage.

• Chad J. Allendorf, 24, Mineral Point, reported no injuries at 8:12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, after he hit a deer on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs. The vehicle was moderately damaged.
