New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 11 a.m. July 28 at 6th Avenue and Wisconsin 69. Police report a vehicle driven by Burton A. Roberts, Clayton, Calif., turned in front of a vehicle driven by Ruth K. Sybers, 74, Madison. The vehicles received moderate to extensive damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. July 28 on Railroad Street at 6th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Jason M. Borth, 46, New Glarus, was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Kevin M. Lienhardt, 17, New Glarus. The vehicles received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Payton Collins, 21, Gratiot, was arrested for drunken driving and speeding following a one-vehicle accident at about 6 a.m. Sunday on County K in Gratiot township. A passenger in the vehicle, Justin Rutherford, 19, Anderson, Ind., was cited for underage drinking. They were released pending court.

• Fernando Velazquez-Garduno, 19, Darlington, was cited for driving without a license and failure to control a vehicle following a one-vehicle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Saturday on High ridge Road in Wiota township.
