MONROE - Kelvin W. Johnson, 54, Monticello, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N7400 block of County CC, Exeter Township, at 5:24 a.m. on Friday. Johnson was northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage.
Deputies located a one-truck crash at the intersection of Wisconsin 92 and County W, Town of Exeter. The owner of the truck, Michael A. Taylor, 44, Madison, had left the scene but returned on foot. Taylor reported he was southbound on Wis. 92 when he swerved to miss a deer in the roadway. His truck left the roadway and hit a sign then slid into the ditch. Taylor was uninjured. He was cited at 1:21 a.m. Sunday for driving with a suspended license and released pending court.

DARLINGTON - Deputies, the Darlington Fire Department and Rural Medical Ambulance responded at 10:58 p.m. Friday to a report of a vehicle accident on County F, Seymour Township.
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 81, Elk Grove Township. Gabriel Cocon-Xinco, 20, Darlington, was eastbound when his vehicle crossed over the north ditch and hit several large rocks and a small tree. Cocon-Xinco was cited at 4:44 a.m. Saturday for failure to keep a vehicle under control, driving while under the influence, second offense, open intoxicants in a vehicle and driving while revoked. He was jailed pending court. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
A deputy responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident on West Esty Street, Shullsburg, at 4:23 p.m. Sunday. An unknown vehicle hit a legally parked vehicle owned by Patricia A. Corley. There was minor passenger-side damage to Corley's vehicle and it was driven from the scene. The incident remains under investigation.

NEW GLARUS - Police responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch in the 1300 block of Elmer Road. It was determined the driver was attempting to turn around when the front-end of the vehicle got stuck in the ditchline at 7:20 a.m. Friday.
