MONROE - No one was injured in a three-vehicle accident at about 11 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of 14th Avenue. Police records indicate Richard C. Haglund, 81, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle and sideswiped two legally parked motor vehicles. All vehicles sustained moderate damage. Haglund was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed.

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4:45 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 59 near Decatur-Sylvester Road in the Town of Sylvester. Deputies report a pick-up truck, driven by Jon N. Pfarr, 67, Monroe, was westbound on Wisconsin 59 when a tractor pulling three hay wagons pulled out of a field access drive and failed to yield the right of way, causing Pfarr to do an evasive action to avoid a collision. Pfarr left the highway and collided with a culvert, causing severe damage to his vehicle. The truck was towed from the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11 p.m. Friday on County W west of New Glarus. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Nicholas L. Davis, 17, Belleville, failed to negotiate a curve and overturned several times. Davis and a passenger, Cameron F. Jeglum, 17, New Glarus, were taken to University of Wisconsin Hospital for injuries. The New Glarus Police Department, New Glarus Fire Department and New Glarus Emergency Medical Services assisted at the scene.
A vehicle driven by Tashonarae R. Brown, 19, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 8 p.m. Saturday in the W6200 block of Vogel Road in Monroe township. The vehicle received minor damage.

NEW GLARUS - Joyce E. Moen, 79, New Glarus, reported at 9 p.m. Aug. 3 that her vehicle was hit while it was parked in the downtown area. The vehicle received front end damage. Anyone with information can contact the police department at (608) 527-2145.

DARLINGTON - A vehicle driven by Melissa L. Mick, 26, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 7:15 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 126 in Elk Grove township.
