GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday, no injuries were reported at 4:33 a.m. after Colton J. Seffrood, 25, Monroe, swerved into a ditch to avoid a deer in the N4400 block of County J, Town of Monroe. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported after Skott H. Kampfer, 51, Blanchardville, struck a deer in the W9100 block of Disrud Road, Town of Adams.

• No injuries were reported after Teela A. Ellingson struck a deer in the W4900 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday, no injuries were reported at 3:40 p.m. after Jeremy K. Stutzel, 47, Rockford, attempted to pass a horse-drawn buggy on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot, when the horses' reins broke, steering the horses into Stutzel's semi trailer. Stutzel's truck sustained minor damage. Both horses had to be put down.

On Saturday, no injuries were reported at 8:49 p.m. after Bailey J. Kehm, 18, Blanchardville, struck a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchardville.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 8:31 a.m. after Christine L. Douglas, 52, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:43 p.m. after Meghan M. Taylor, 24, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
