MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No injuries were reported at 1:18 p.m. Wednesday after James J. Symanek III, 37, Freeport, struck a vehicle at the intersection of 15th Avenue and 19th Street. Symanek was cited for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported at 9:35 a.m. after Cody R. Stamm, 23, Monroe, struck a trailer being towed by James W. Kronberger, 57, Monona, at the intersection of Wisconsin 11 and Wis. 81, Town of Spring Grove. Stamm was cited for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign. The trailer sustained minor damage, while Stamm's vehicle sustained moderate damage. All vehicles involved were driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 2:22 p.m. after Laron G. Pendleton, 24, Freeport, swerved off the road to avoid a dog in the N3900 block of County N, Town of Monroe. His vehicle rolled down an embankment, into a ditch and went through a fence, sustaining moderate damage and was eventually towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Brandon Suiter, 26, Albany, struck a deer in the W4200 block of County EE, Town of Mount Pleasant.
