MONROE - Non-life-threatening injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 69 at 6th Street at 1:20 p.m. Monday, March 31. A vehicle driven by a 28-year-old man from Monroe hit a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old woman from Monroe. Both drivers were transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

MONROE - On Monday, March 31:

• Kandy E. Benson, 28, Argyle was uninjured in a vehicle vs. deer crash on Dougherty Creek Road near Apple Grove Road, Adams Township at 7:04 a.m. Benson was northbound on Dougherty Creek Road when two deer ran into the front end of her vehicle. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Jane A. Nelson, 72, Blanchardville, was uninjured in a deer vs. car accident on Wis. 81 east of Skinner Hollow Road, Monroe Township at 1:38 p.m. Nelson was westbound on Wis. 81 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Non-life-threatening injuries were sustained in two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Wis. 11 and County S, Town of Jefferson. Cheryl L. Johnson, 55, Juda, was westbound on Wis. 11 and slowing to turn onto County S towards Juda. Johnson turned in front of an eastbound truck driven by Jesse J. Tanner, 20, Beloit, and the vehicles collided. Johnson sustained injuries but refused treatment, her passengers were not injured. Tanner sustained injuries and was transported to Monroe E.R. Both Johnson's and Tanner's vehicles sustained severe front-end damage and were towed from the scene. Johnson was cited at 4:59 p.m. for failure to yield right-of-way while making a left hand turn and released pending court.
