Monroe Police

MONROE - Juan Perez Gonzalez, 30, Monroe, was arrested for drunken driving, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, second-offense driving without a driver's license, inattentive driving and unsafe backing following a two-vehicle accident at about 6 p.m. at the intersection of 11th Street and 16th Avenue. Police report his vehicle backed into a parked vehicle owned by Tracy L. Beutel, 31, Monroe. The vehicles received minor damage. Perez Gonzalez was released pending court.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:30 a.m. Monday at Wisconsin 39 and Wis. 78. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Charles D. Knauer, 26, Warren, failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by Jeffrey A. Busch, 24, Blanchardville. Busch was taken by Blanchardville Emergency Medical Services to Monroe Clinic. Knauer was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign. Busch was cited for non-registration of a vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt. They were released pending court. The vehicles received moderate damages.

• James L. Sweeney, 28, Monroe, was cited for driving after revocation and driving with a flat tire following a report of a vehicle in a ditch at about 4:15 a.m. Monday at Allen Road and Franklin road. He was released pending court.

• A vehicle driven by Donna L. Flannery, 41, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 8 p.m. Monday on Wis. 11 near Keller Road in Clarno township. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A vehicle driven by Kayla M. Schaaf, 18, Mineral Point, hit a deer at about 10:30 p.m. Monday on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs township. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.
