DARLINGTON - On April 10:
A minor four-car pileup with no injuries was reported at 4:04 p.m. on East Main Street in Benton. John R. Puf, 68, Oelwein, Iowa, was driving a 2010 Freightliner; Michael R. Burlison, 54, Cuba City, was driving a 2004 Dodge Ram; Richard A. Mick, 58, Benton, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala; and Lisa A. Russell, 53, Belmont, was driving a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country. They were all traveling west on East Main Street when Russell stopped in the lane of traffic to make a left-hand turn. Puf struck the back of Burlison. Burlison struck the back of Mick, and Mick struck the back of Russell. The vehicles were removed from the scene.
A two-vehicle crash was reported at 8:46 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township. David A. Pauly, 71, Shullsburg, was traveling on Wis. 23 when he slowed to enter a driveway. While turning into the driveway, Pauly struck a 2006 Ford truck driven by Richard B. Laufenberg, 75, Blanchardville. Pauly's 2011 grain trailer owned by Richard A. Mosely, 56, Darlington, and Laufenberg's 2006 Ford sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene. Laufenberg was cited for three counts of violation of child safety restraint for children under the age of 4.

A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 9:50 p.m. on County F in Blanchard Township. John D. Schuster, 53, Arlington Heights, Illinois, was arrested for operating while intoxicated (second offense), failure to maintain control, operating after revocation and failure to report a motor vehicle accident.

MONROE - On April 11:
No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash was reported at 7:07 a.m. in the N5300 block of County F in Albany. Rachel A. Leege, 21, Juda, was northbound on County F when she failed to negotiate the curve. Leege's vehicle left the road and went down an embankment where it overturned. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
