Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 7:45 a.m. Monday in the 2800 block of Sixth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Neil A. Detra, 44, Brooklyn, hit a vehicle driven by Traci L. Thompson, 31, Monroe. Detra was cited for improper backing of a vehicle. The vehicles received moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - A vehicle driven by Emily A. Giasson, 26, Monroe, hit a deer around 8 p.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 69 south of Franklin Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Ruth E. Elsner, 78, Madison, hit a deer around 8:15 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 69 north of Hill Lane. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Jeremy L. Nickols, 27, Albany, hit a deer around 6:15 a.m. Monday on Wis. 104 north of Atkinson Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by David S. Dittmer, 46, Monroe, hit a turkey around 12:45 p.m. Monday on Wis. 11 west of Bagley Road. The vehicle's windshield was damaged.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Mary R. Larson, 48, Warren, Ill., was arrested for drunken driving, failure to report an accident, failure to have control of a vehicle and a seat belt violation following a one-vehicle accident around 7:15 a.m. Monday on East Lamont Road in Lamont township. Deputies report her vehicle left the road, hit a tree and several piles of cut wood and came to rest against a fence. She left the scene and was located at a nearby residence. She was released pending court.
