Thomas R. Holyoke Jr., age 87, of Monroe, died on Monday, April 06, 2015 at St. Clare Friedensheim. He was born on April 13, 1927 in Monroe, the son of Thomas and Dorothy (Tschudy) Holyoke Sr.
Thomas graduated from Monroe High School and UW of Madison.
Thomas was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during World War II, from May 25, 1945 - July 25, 1946.
Thomas and Mardelle Elmer were married on April 7, 1951 at St. John's United Church of Christ.
He was a long time Pharmacist in Monroe, being the first one at St. Clare Hospital.
Thomas was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. He enjoyed woodworking and working in his orchard.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Holyoke, Dennis (Lori) Holyoke both of Monroe; 3 grandchildren: Sarah (Matt), Tim and Tom Holyoke.
He is predeceased by his Parents; wife, Mardelle; son, Richard; and brother-in-law, Conrad Elmer.
Family Services will be held at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
