JANESVILLE - Thomas R. Fox, age 46, of Janesville, died on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at home. He was born in Janesville on June 1, 1967, the son of Harold and Toni (Mc Ginnis) Fox and was a 1986 graduate of Craig High School. He married Tracey L. Nelson on September 11, 1997, in Janesville. Tom was a journeyman plumber and worked at J&B Nelson Plumbing for many years before going back to school and attaining a CNA degree where he worked for the Nazareth Health Care in Stoughton. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Tom was an avid beer connoisseur (especially at the Essen Haus in Madison) and adored his Chocolate Lab Rylee.

He is survived by his wife, Tracey; mother, Toni; 3 brothers: Harry "Butch" (Julie) Mau and Jeff (Susan) Fox both of Monroe and Steve (Wendy Monat) of Janesville; father and mother-in-law, Bryan and Joan Nelson of Janesville; 2 sisters-in-law, Terry Nelson of Leesburg, FL and Toni (Steve) Rowley of Brodhead; brother-in-law, Brent (Sue) Nelson of Janesville; 8 nieces and nephews: Rob (Emalee) Mau, Renee (Randy) Lee, Mallary Fox, Garrett Fox, Catherine Nelson, David Nelson, Nicholas Rowley and Sarah Rowley; great-niece, Allison; and 2 great nephews, Brayden and Brody. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold; brother, Gary Fox; sister-in-law, Terese Mau; and longtime friend, Joel Sarnow.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH, Janesville with Rev. Donn Heiar officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
