Syvilla Odell Cahall, age 98, of Spooner, Wisconsin, formerly of Monroe died on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Benedictine Living Center in Spooner, Wisconsin. Odell was born on September 26, 1916 in Blanchardville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edwin and Nellie (Olson) Severson. She attended grade school in Blanchardville and graduated from Monroe High School. Odell married Clarence Cahall on August 11, 1939 in the Union Church in Monroe. Over the years she and her husband lived in several communities, Reedsburg, Kenosha, Portage, Spooner, Waupaca and Hudson, Wisconsin.

She worked in their store in Hudson until they retired in 1978. After 46 years she and her husband moved back to Monroe in April 1987. She enjoyed gardening and golf. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband, Clarence, brother, Gordon, and sisters, Evelyn and Myra.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Highland memorial Park in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

A visitation will be Monday, January 12th, from 11:00 to 12:00 noon at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe.
