Sheila Mae Schulz, age 46 of Monroe, died on Friday, November 21, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 19, 1968, in Monroe, the daughter of Arthur and Linda (Nyman) Peterson. She was a Monroe High School graduate, going on to attain her B.S. Degree from U.W. Whitewater and her M.S. Degree from U.W. Platteville. Sheila and Marty Schulz were married in 1999 at St. Victor Catholic Church.

Sheila worked at Pick N Save and was a Juvenile Intake Officer for Green County. Later she was self employed as a family mediator (Family Solution Services). She attended Monroe United Methodist Church and St. Clare of Assisi Parish.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Marty Schulz; parents, Paul and Linda Hannes; son, Hunter Arthur Thomas Schulz; step-son, Ryan Hahn; Daughters, Sydney Asina Pakria Schulz, Alyvia Bernadine Alise Schulz, Bryell Adrianna Lou Schulz; brother, Tom Peterson; step-brother, Jeff Hannes; sister, Sheri Meritt; step-sisters, Aleta Norris and Sherri Block. She is predeceased by her father, Arthur Peterson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Hakes officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

A memorial fund is being established in Sheila's memory.
