Sara Anne Larson-Allen, age 50 of Monroe, formerly of Albany, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her home. She was born on January 19, 1968 in Albany, the daughter of Cecil and Phyllis (Pittsley) Larson. She attended Albany High School. Sara married Mark J. Allen on August 9, 1986 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was confirmed and belonged to the Albany Lutheran Church. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Mark of Monroe; mother, Phyliss Larson of Albany; children: Anthony Allen, Tess (Brian Rice) Allen, and Molly (Jeremy) Eberle. all of Monroe; 4 grandchildren; Gabriel, Brayden, Avarie, and Marcus; siblings: David Larson of Janesville, Jamie (Tammy) Larson of Albany, Tina (Harley) Berra of Brodhead, and Lurene Larson of La Crosse; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Larson.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Albany Lutheran Church, with Reverend Peder Heide officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery at a later date. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service, at the Church. SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the family.
