Rose M. "Rosie" Myers, 79, of rural Orangeville died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born April 9, 1931 in Juda, Wisconsin she was the daughter of Albert and Anastasia (McCann) Tobler. Rosie married Lowell K. Myers on February 3, 1952 and he died June 14, 2010.
She was a graduate of Orangeville High School. She worked at the Rock City Bank before her marriage. Rosie farmed with her husband for over 40 years. She truly loved her Holstein cows. She was an avid bowler, gardener, and of course enjoyed her time with grandchildren.
Surviving are her 2 daughters, Connie (Joe) Geiter of Freeport and Sallie (Roger) Ellingson of Orangeville; 1 son, Mark Myers of Freeport; 4 grandchildren, Tara (Wesley) Kereven of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Chad (fiancé Bekah Davisson) Ellingson of Decatur, Tracy Ellingson of Orangeville, and Christina Myers of Freeport; 1 great grandchild, Samantha Kereven of Waukesha, Wisconsin; 1 brother, Carl (Shirley) Tobler of Davis; and her brother in-law, Carl Ebneter of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 1 grandchild, Tammy Geiter; 2 sisters, Evelyn Tobler and Florence Ebneter.
There will be a visitation Friday, December 31, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday 11 a.m. at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her name.
