FREEPORT - Robert F. Erb, 61, went to his eternal resting place on October 14, 2008, at his home in Freeport. He was born August 18, 1947 in Juda, WI, the son of John and Hulda (Abplanalp) Erb.
He was a third generation dairy farmer in the Juda area for many years. After retiring from the farm, he worked as a dairy field rep for Midwest Dairyman's Company in Rockford.
He is survived by his wife Kay Erb, whom he met in the Madison Wisconsin area. He is also survived by his son, Christopher Erb of Monroe, his sister Jean (Russell) Hankins of Nebraska, his sister-in-law; Joyce Erb of Rockford, along with many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Roger Erb.
A memorial service will be held in Juda at Zion Church on Monday, October 27 at 2 p.m.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Faith Methodist Church in Freeport at 11:00 AM. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM, and a luncheon will follow the service.
A memorial has been established in Bob's memory.
