Robert D. "Bobby" Rhyner

Robert D. "Bobby" Rhyner age 77 formerly of Albany & Monroe, Wisconsin died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Freeport Memorial Hospital. He was born December 3, 1935 at rural Albany the son of William and Rose (Schenk) Rhyner and graduated from Albany High School in 1953.

Robert entered the U. S. Army on January 27, 1955 at Milwaukee, WI, served in Germany on the Border Patrol, and was discharged on December 28, 1956 at Ft. Sheridan, IL with the Good Conduct Medal.

Robert married Sandra Keller on June 27, 1964. Robert was a member of Zilmer Riley American Legion Post #84, was employed in various construction companies, was self-employed in construction, and after retiring drove for Monroe Truck Equipment.

Surviving are his daughter, Sheri (Robert) Rhyner-Rugg of Monroe; brother, Larry (Sharon) Rhyner of Janesville; grandchildren, James & Hailey Rugg; special friend, Lori Riese; and many relatives & friends. He was predeceased by his parents; wife; and brothers, Alan & Dennis Rhyner.

Funeral services will be at noon on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe with Pastor Pat Soddy officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany, WI.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at noon Thursday at the Funeral Home.

A Memorial Fund is being established in Robert's memory.
