Richard V. Koss Jr., age 71 of Beloit, formerly of the Albany area, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at his son's home. He was born on March 3, 1942 in Madison, the son of Richard and Esther (Miller) Koss Sr. He served 2 years in the Navy and then 3 years in the Army. Richard worked for Sesmark foods for many years in the warehouse and shipping departments. He enjoyed raising tropical fish, and sold to local pet stores.
He is survived by 4 children: Denise Schutte of Brodhead, Richard Koss III of Albany, Billy Koss of Albany and Shaun Koss of Orfordville; 5 grandchildren: Brittney Schutte, Katelyn Dawedeit, Desiree Koss, Ethan Koss and Seth Koss; 2 sisters, Deanna Eddingfields and Suzette Boesc, both of CA; a brother, Larry Koss of Boise, Idaho, plus nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 27, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Everson Funeral Home, Brodhead.
