Richard Alan "Rick" Paulson, of Monroe, passed away on February 8, 2012 at home. He was born on March 22, 1960 in Monroe, the son of Richard Paulson of Monticello and Geraldine Newman (deceased). Rick is survived and will be sadly missed by loving wife Dondra "Dee" Paulson; brother, Michael (Diane) Paulson of Monroe; half sisters, Amy, Lisa and Lori; uncle, Fritz (Joan) Neuenschwander; step-grandmother, Henrietta Paulson of Monroe and cousins. He was a 1978 graduate of Monroe High School. Rick was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Victor Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Monroe Council # 1471. He coached Church league slow pitch for many years for the Parish, assistant coach for several years for the 14 & 15 year olds for the junior varsity baseball team of Monroe. He was employed at Roth Kase Cheese Inc., where he worked for 17 years.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, with a memorial service immediately following the visitation, with Fr. Michael E. Klarer officiating.
