Lena - Raymond D. Lynch, 66, of Lena, IL passed away on August 8, 2008 at his home following an extended illness. He was born in Manville, Albert Canada on April 28, 1942. He was the son of Raymond and Margaret (Simonson) Lynch.

He married Dianne M. Smith on December 31, 1960 in Vermilion, Alberta, Canada. The Kelly Springfield Tire Company in Freeport, IL employed him for many years and

Raymond retired in 2001. Raymond belong to the National Rifle Association, he enjoyed hunting and was an avid gun collector.

He is survived by his Wife Dianne of Lena, IL; 1 son: Raymond (Maria) Lynch of Lanark, Ill.; three daughters: Cindy Walker of O'Fallon, IL, Patty LaDow, Debbie (John) Dyson all of Largo, FL; two brothers: Tom (Georgette) Lynch and Wesley Lynch; three sisters: Vivian Lynch, Roberta (Jerry) Brown, Sandy (Jim) Snell all of Canada; 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Raymond was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Cadiz Cemetery, Green County, Wisconsin.

Pastor Randy Nicholas will officiate the services.

There will be no visitation and cremation rites have been accorded.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. A luncheon will be held following the graveside service from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the American Legion Home 316 West Main Street, Lena, IL.
