Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Sept. 28:

• Jacob Runkle, 17, Darlington, was cited for truancy at 11 a.m. following a complaint by Darlington High School.

• Matthew Wylie, 30, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain seatbelts following a traffic stop at 10:30 a.m. on Wisconsin 23. This is Wylie's 30th driver's license offense in the past three and a half years.

On Saturday:

• Josue I. Sarante, 23, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid driver's license and without vehicle insurance following a traffic complaint at 8:30 p.m. on East Cornelia Street.

On Sunday:

• Danny J. Clark, 61, Mineral Point, was cited for disorderly conduct following police contact at 12:30 a.m. on West Louisa Street.

On Monday:

• Ernest Hess, 56, Darlington, was cited for an improper right turn at 10:30 a.m. following a traffic complaint that a motorcycle had been cut off on Wis. 23.

• Rachel Walton, 40, Argyle, was cited at 11 a.m. for writing a worthless check at a business on Wis. 23.

• Tammy Figi, 50, Darlington, was issued two citations at 11 a.m. for writing worthless checks at two businesses on Wis. 23.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Clark M. Schaller, 29, Monticello, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation and parole warrant at 11:13 a.m. at the Green County Justice Center. He was jailed pending a probation review.

• A juvenile was cited for possession of marijuana after deputies investigated an incident at the Juda School District. Juda school officials notified the sheriff's office after receiving information at 11:29 a.m. that the boy possessed marijuana while on school grounds. He was released to a parent with a court date.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• Deputies responded at 2:35 a.m. to South Warren Street in South Wayne for a disorderly conduct complaint.

• An erratic driver was reported at 4:26 a.m. on County W, Town of Gratiot.

• Livestock in the road was reported at 7:21 a.m. on Andrews Road, Town of Wayne.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 1:38 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Shullsburg.

• A deputy responded at 2:43 p.m. to Swanson Road, Town of Wayne, for a welfare check.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 5 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• An animal bite was reported at 5:26 p.m. on West Wisconsin Avenue in Belmont.

• Fraud was reported at 5:31 p.m. on West Main Street in Benton.

• An ordinance violation was reported at 6:08 p.m. on Galena Street in Benton.
