DARLINGTON POLICE
DARLINGTON - Francisco Critobal Gonzales, 20, Darlington, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. Sunday for criminal damage to property after he allegedly smashed the windows of a vehicle.
Timothy A. Fitzsimons, 25, Darlington, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. Monday for forgery and identity theft after stealing a check, forging the victim's name and issuing the check to a local business. Fitzsimons remains jailed pending court.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF
DARLINGTON - On Monday:
• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 10 a.m. on Buncombe Road, Town of Benton, assisted by Lafayette County Human Services.
• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 10 a.m. on Judgement Street in Shullsburg, assisted by Lafayette County Human Services.
• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 10 a.m. on County O, Town of Shullsburg, assisted by Lafayette County Human Services.
• Cody A. Kirshbaum, 27, South Wayne, was arrested at 2:04 p.m. on County D, Town of Wayne, on a warrant from the Department of Corrections after police stopped and cited him for a seatbelt violation. Kirshbaum was jailed.
• A deputy provided traffic control at 3:15 p.m. on County D, Town of Lamont.
• Bronson H. Ubersox, 25, Shullsburg, was cited at 9:15 p.m. on Wisconsin 11, Town of Gratiot, for speeding and driving with no vehicle insurance.
