Two people carrying a satchel and sneaking between vehicles at New Glarus Motors, 1401 2nd St., were reported at 10:57 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22. Upon arrival of police, no one was located and everything appeared normal at the dealership.
Trespassing at a residence in the 400 block of 2nd Street was reported at 6:49 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23.
Jessica D.A. Montano, 31, Argyle, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue at 8:04 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23.
Intoxicated people playing on the cow statues in the 500 block of 1st Street were reported at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24. Upon arrival of police, the people had already left.
Large pigs running at large in the intersection of Wis. 69 and 6th Avenue were reported at 8:53 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26. The pigs were finally all accounted for and returned to the proper location. Green County deputies and several citizens assisted.
Patricia A. Luchsinger, 69, Monticello, was cited for an expired vehicle registration in the 1300 block of Wis. 69 at 11:34 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27.
Megan L. Norton, 20, Monticello, was cited for driving with a suspended license and for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue at 3:47 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27.
A person who was intoxicated and picking fights was removed from the Oktoberfest tent at 11:31 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27. Police were again called to the tent seven minutes later for a report of a disturbance. Police broke up the fight and the involved people were removed from the festival grounds.
Illegal drugs were located by the Green County K-9 team during a traffic stop on 8th Street at 6th Avenue at 11:34 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27. The case remains under investigation.
Criminal damage to a vehicle in the area of 14th Avenue and 2nd Street was reported at 11:52 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27.
Kenneth R. Myszka, 32, Waupaca, was cited for urinating in public at 1:18 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, in the 400 block of 2nd Street.
An intoxicated person in the middle of Wis. 69, trying to get a ride to the New Glarus Woods State Park, was reported at 2:02 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. The person was turned over to some friends.
Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Elmer Road for a 911 call at 2:37 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.
Police responded to the Glarner Lodge at 3:01 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, to assist nurses with lifting.
Police checked the welfare of a bicyclist who was observed falling off his bicycle while in the area of 6th Avenue and 6th Street at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. The bicyclist told police he was OK and rode away.
At 3:24 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, police were alerted to a large tree branch that was cracked and possibly going to fall. The street department responded and secured the branch until it could be removed later, due to the Oktoberfest traffic.
Four people were cited after police responded to a fight in progress in the 1400 block of 2nd Street at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. Cited for disorderly conduct were Reed D. Sutton, 18, New Orleans, La., Anthony M. Wiser, 23, Monroe, and Jonathan R. Leverton Duerst, 20, New Glarus. Mitchell D. Bliss, 20, Belleville, was cited for underage drinking.
An unwanted person at a residence in the 300 block of Elmer Road was reported at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. The reporting person wanted the other person removed for not paying their share of rent. They were told this is a civil matter, and no further action was taken.
Police were called twice to the 1400 block of 2nd Street, at 2:22 p.m. and 3:02 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, for a dispute between family and friends over a campsite. The parties were separated for the night and everyone went to bed.
Charles Benton, 33, Chicago, was cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance after being stopped for a muffler violation on 6th Avenue and 1st Street at 2:44 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.
Police were called to the New Glarus Woods State Park campgrounds for a disturbance at 3 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. Everyone was warned and went to bed.

Haley N. Ferro, 19, New Glarus, was cited for operating a moped without a valid license after police responded to a moped crash on 1st Street at 8th Avenue at 11:52 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. She lost control and hit a parked car and the curb.
An animal bite that occurred within the village was reported at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.

MONROE - Karen A. Signer, 62, rural Browntown, was cited for driving with an expired license after deputies, the Monroe Fire Department and Green County EMS responded to a one-vehicle crash in the N1500 block of Jeffrey Road in Clarno Township at 7:28 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30. Signer was southbound when she lost control. The vehicle went off the east side of the road and hit a fence post and a tree. It was moderately damaged and towed. She and her passenger, Dale A. Signer, 66, rural Browntown, were transported by EMS for treatment of injuries they sustained in the crash.

Animal neglect was reported at 5:58 a.m. at a residence on County P in Monticello Township. A deputy deemed the complaint unfounded.
Reid L. Miller, 24, Mineral Point, was cited for driving with an expired registration at 7:47 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.
Theft was reported at 9:58 a.m. on County B in Wayne Township.
Fraud was reported at 1:55 p.m. on Arbor Street in Benton.
A theft of medication from a residence on County XX in Belmont Township was reported at 2 p.m.
