Albany Police

ALBANY - On Sunday:

• Kevin D. Beckwith, 40, Albany, was arrested for three felony counts of bail jumping, disorderly conduct and obstruction.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Last week, police performed 52 citizen assists, 34 security checks, 18 calls for service, 16 911 calls, nine EMS calls, nine vehicle registrations, eight agency assists, seven traffic stops and three fire calls. There were no mental health or detox transports.

On Oct. 8:

• A Blanchardville man, 28, was arrested at 12:25 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. for second-offense driving while intoxicated, possession of open intoxicants and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.

On Oct. 9:

• A Brodhead man, 25, was arrested in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue for theft following an investigation of a complaint received on Oct. 5.

• A Brodhead man, 18, was cited at 12:32 p.m. in the 200 block of East 2nd Avenue for failing to stop for a school bus.

• A Brodhead man, 49, was arrested at 12:59 p.m. on a warrant issued by the Racine County Circuit Court.

• A bicycle theft was reported at 4:47 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 3rd Avenue. This matter remains under investigation.

On Oct. 10:

• A gas drive-off was reported at 4:16 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. It was determined to be an oversight. No charges were filed.

On Oct. 11:

• A Cedar Rapids, Iowa, man, 72, was cited at 4:30 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street for speeding.

On Thursday:

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:05 a.m. in the 2100 block of West 9th Avenue where two subjects were involved in an altercation. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.

• Trespassing was reported at 10:31 a.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street. This matter remains under investigation.

• Fraud was reported at 2:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Ave. This matter remains under investigation.

On Saturday:

• A Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, man, 35, was cited at 11:24 a.m. in the 500 block of East 9th Avenue for speeding.

• A Madison woman, 55, was cited at 11:47 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street for speeding.

• A Brodhead man, 20, was cited at 12:09 p.m. in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue for speeding.

• A Brodhead woman, 40, was arrested at 8:43 p.m. in the 1300 block of 1st Center Avenue on two warrants issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Chad A. Johnson, 35, Darlington, was cited at 11:57 p.m. for disorderly conduct following an altercation on Main Street. Johnson was placed on a probation hold and transported to the Lafayette County Jail.

• Tiffany J. Chandler, 37, Darlington, was cited at 11:57 a.m. for disorderly conduct following an altercation on Main Street.

On Sunday:

• Rosanne Losoya, 31, Darlington, was cited at 5:40 a.m. on Main Street for operating with a suspended license. Losoya was also cited for operating a non-registered motor vehicle and for operating a motor vehicle without insurance. 



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Saturday:

• Deputies assisted Darlington Police at 12:36 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington with an intoxicated individual.

• Deputies assisted Darlington Police at 2:14 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington with an assault.

• A harassment complaint was reported at 9:20 a.m. on Hill Street in New Diggings Township.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 10:48 a.m. on South Holland Road in Gratiot Township.

• Melissa J. Rebout, 31, South Wayne, was cited at 6:20 p.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Wayne Township for operating with a suspended license.

• Thomas C. Curran, 47, Shullsburg, was cited at 6:32 p.m. on County W in Willow Springs Township for operating under the influence. Curran was released to a responsible party.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:58 p.m. on Holland Road in Kendall Township.

• A deputy assisted the Grant County Sheriff's Office at 7:58 p.m. on Wis. 80.

• A 911 hang-up was reported at 8:15 p.m. on Windy Point Road in New Diggings Township.

• A deputy responded at 11:45 p.m. to West Center Street in South Wayne for a welfare check.

On Sunday:

• A noise complaint was reported at 12:41 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

• A deputy responded at 1:07 a.m. to Mitchell Hollow Road in Belmont Township for a welfare check.

• A deputy responded at 1:43 a.m. to West Water Street in Shullsburg for a welfare check.

• Stephanie A. Seals, 23, Necedah, was cited at 2:07 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Wayne Township for a suspended license and no proof of insurance.

• A deputy responded at 3:07 a.m. to Hilldale Road in New Diggings Township for traffic control.

• A deputy responded at 3:13 a.m. to Gould Hill Road in Blanchard Township for a traffic hazard.

• A deputy responded at 3:37 a.m. on West South Street in the Village of Gratiot for a parking problem.

• A deputy responded at 8:53 a.m. to West Center Street in the Village of South Wayne for a welfare check.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 2:42 p.m. on County M in Wiota Township.

• An abandoned vehicle was reported at 3:43 p.m. on East Friendship Street in Shullsburg.

• Brian F. Sherrer, 32, Elizabeth, Illinois, was cited at 4:16 p.m. on Buncombe Road for possession of marijuana and no proof of insurance.

• Nahum Valentin-Guerrero, 37, Monroe, was arrested at 7:51 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Green County for two counts of resisting/obstructing an officer, escape and operating without a valid driver's license. Valentin-Guerrero was cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, no insurance and no seatbelt. Valentin-Guerrero remains in custody at the Lafayette County Jail.

• Aleyha R. Slatter, 21, Janesville, was cited at 9:27 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township.

n A suspicious vehicle was reported at 9:46 p.m. on Ollie Bell Road in New Diggings Township.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Friday:

• John K. Queen, 27, Monroe, was arrested at 3:39 p.m. in the 1800 block of 9th Street for battery and disorderly conduct under state domestic violence laws.

• Justin D. Brown, 34, Monroe, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of 8 1/2 Street on a warrant for the manufacture and delivery of cocaine, and was taken to Green County Jail.

On Saturday:

• A vehicle was reported in the ditch at 1:59 a.m. in the 100 block of North 18th Avenue.

• Dennis E. Beutel, 47, Monroe, was cited for failing to notify police of an accident. The vehicle was impounded by police. Officers believe it may have been involved in other accidents prior to the ditch. Beutel was released with a court date.

• Shane A. Chesebro, 36, Monroe, was arrested at 7:50 p.m. in the 900 block of 12th Street on a warrant for the manufacture and delivery of cocaine. Chesebro was taken to Green County Jail.
