Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Monday:

• Erik A. Larsen, 19, Cuba City was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and underage alcohol possession at 10:54 p.m. in the 2800 block of 6th Street in Monroe after deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity. Mariah J. Dietzman, 20, Stoughton, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were released pending court.

On Tuesday:

• Josue I. Sarante, 23, Darlington, was arrested for operating while under the influence of alcohol (1st offense), at 1:55 a.m. after being stopped while traveling the wrong way on the exit ramp from Wisconsin 11 to Wis. 69 and 18th Avenue in Monroe. Sarante was also cited for operating the wrong way on a divided highway, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating with prohibited alcohol concentration and operating without a valid license. He was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• Debris in the roadway was reported at 3:27 a.m. on County W in Benton Township.

A deputy came across a disabled vehicle at 6 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Shullsburg Township.

• A civil dispute was reported at 4:46 p.m. on County U in Shullsburg Township.

• A fraud complaint was reported at 5:02 p.m. on County F in Darlington Township.

• A deputy responded at 5:53 p.m. to Apple Branch Road in Argyle Township for a welfare check.

• A deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock at 6:07 p.m. on Dobbs Road in Lamont Township.

• Hayley-Jo M. Burton, 18, South Wayne, was cited for speeding at 9:45 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Wayne Township.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 10:45 p.m. on County H in Elk Grove Township.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 10:54 p.m. on Miner Way in Shullsburg. 

On Tuesday:

• A deputy assisted with a vehicle lockout at 6:16 a.m. on North Fairview Avenue in Argyle.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 12:02 p.m. on Mitchell Hollow Road in Belmont Township.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:52 a.m. on County D in Wiota Township.

• A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police at 8:01 p.m. to East Truth Street in Shullsburg with a welfare check.

• A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police at 8:12 p.m. on Miner Way in Shullsburg for a report of disorderly conduct.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 10:15 p.m. on County D in Fayette Township.

• A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police at 10:25 p.m. on East Truth Street in Shullsburg with a harassment complaint.

• A theft was reported at 11:57 p.m. on South Warren Street in South Wayne.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Monday:

• Shawn W. Boss, 17, Monroe, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. in the 2200 block of 8th Avenue for bail jumping and a hold issued by probation and parole for violation of probation rules. Boss was confined to the Green County Jail.

On Tuesday:

• Richard D. Hauser, 36, Brodhead, was arrested on a warrant through Rock County for failure to appear on a criminal traffic charge at 8:15 a.m. on the 1700 block of 11th Street. Hauser was confined at the Green County Jail.

• Cloyde A. Kyle, 48, Guthrie, Oklahoma, was arrested on a warrant out of Dallas, Texas, for exploitation of the elderly and a warrant from Lafayette, Louisiana, for theft at 11:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of 10th Street. Kyle was confined to the Green County Jail.
