MONROE - Gabriel Herrera-Garduno, 22, Janesville, was cited for driving too fast for conditions, with a suspended license and without vehicle insurance after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash in the W400 block of Town Center Road in Spring Grove Township at 5:05 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31. He was westbound when he lost control on the mud-covered road and went into the north ditch line. He was uninjured. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the front and undercarriage. It was towed out of the ditch.

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Oct. 31:

• Two small children wandering around the Main Street area of Benton were reported at 4:54 a.m. Before a deputy arrived, a parent located them and took them home.

• Harassment was reported at 2:16 p.m. on County XX in Belmont Township.

• A deputy checked on an unoccupied vehicle parked at 9:21 p.m. in a field off Wis. 81 in Elk Grove Township. The driver was hunting in the area.
