MONROE - On Monday, May 6:
Joseph A. Lartz, 23, Browntown, was cited for driving with a revoked license and with open intoxicants and for possessing a variety of drug paraphernalia, including a straw, a scale, tinfoil, cotton balls and a glass pipe, after police stopped him at 1:14 a.m. on 10th 1/2 Street.
Police were called at 9:24 a.m. to a dispute between two tenants of a building in the 200 block of 10th 1/2 Street. The matter was civil, not criminal.
Police followed up at 10:44 a.m. on a complaint made to the city building inspector that children are throwing bags of garbage over a fence onto a neighboring property in the 900 block of 22nd Street.
A property owner in the 500 block of 17th Avenue was warned for having an unregistered, junked vehicle on the residential property. Police worked out a timetable with the property owner to get it removed.
A resident in the 2700 block of 8th 1/2 Street was warned after a neighbor called police at 3:36 p.m. with a noise complaint.
Two 15-year-old boys were warned at 4:20 p.m. for skateboarding on the street in the 700 block of 8th Street.
Two 14-year-old boys were warned at 6:02 p.m. for skateboarding on the sidewalk in the downtown Square.
An anonymous caller at 6:48 p.m. reported that a woman in the 1300 block of 10th Street was screaming at a boy. Police checked on the boy, and he appeared to be fine.
A resident at a trailer park in the 500 block of West 21st Street reported at 7:09 p.m. that someone in the home had accidentally discharged a firearm while cleaning it. No one was injured.
Police responded at 7:20 p.m. to a complaint that a dog had been barking all day outside a residence in the 1600 block of 14th Street. No one answered the door at the residence when police knocked, but a dog inside also started barking when it heard the knocking. Police are following up.

MONROE - Vincent M. Ott, 23, Browntown, was arrested and jailed Monday, May 6, on a warrant for failure to pay a fine. A warden with the Department of Natural Resources arrested him, then deputies responded to the N200 block of Martintown Road in Cadiz Township at 5:08 p.m. to take custody of Ott.

DARLINGTON - Jose Gutierrez, 38, Alsip, Ill., was cited for speeding on Wisconsin 23 in Darlington Township at 12:10 p.m. Monday, May 6.
Deputies responded at 2:02 a.m. Monday, May 6, to a harassment and disorderly conduct complaint at a location on North State Street in Argyle.
