Darrin W. Demrow, 34, Brodhead, was arrested on charges of domestic disorderly conduct and unlawful use of a phone at 10:26 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at an unspecified location. He posted cash bond and was released.

MONROE - A 13-year-old boy was turned over to Green County Human Services after he caused a disturbance at Family Video, 100 W. 8th St., at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2. He had been already been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct earlier that day. This time he reportedly got angry with his guardian, threw rocks at a vehicle parked outside and started pushing. He was again referred for charging in Green County Juvenile Intake.
Suraj G. Pazhoor, 36, Verona, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after officers stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of 20th Avenue at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, May 2. Pazhoor was also cited for driving against traffic/driving the wrong way on a one-way street and for unreasonable and imprudent speeding. He was released to a responsible person pending court.
Jon R.P. Haase, 20, Brodhead, was cited for trespassing after police responded to a complaint at 11:10 p.m. Thursday, May 2, that he was not supposed to be on the premises at an apartment complex in the 800 block of 6th Street.
Shawn M. Martinson, 17, New Glarus, was cited for a hit-and-run in the 600 block of West 8th Street at 1:10 a.m. Sunday, May 5, after he collided with a light pole, causing minor damage to his vehicle.

Jamie D. Moats, 20, Monroe, was cited for disorderly house (loud noise) after police responded at 8:04 p.m. Sunday, May 5, to a complaint of loud music in an apartment building in the 2700 block of 8th 1/2 Street.
Police were called twice over the weekend to complaints between upstairs/downstairs neighbors in the 400 block of 21st Street. The first was about loud music at 9:41 a.m. Friday, May 3. The music-playing neighbor then complained about the other neighbor's loud noise and stomping at 10:48 p.m. Saturday, May 4. Both were warned.

A woman in the 1700 block of 17th Avenue reported at 12:16 p.m. Saturday, May 4, she was getting harassing text messages from another woman. Police learned she was also sending harassing text messages to the other woman. They were both warned to knock it off.
A Great Dane dog that is apparently allowed to run uncontrolled in the 2800 block of 1st Street was reported by a neighbor at 4:26 p.m. Saturday, May 4. She told police the dog goes to the bathroom in her yard.

Police were called to investigate the death of a 61-year-old woman in the 700 block of 12th Avenue at 12:44 p.m. Sunday, May 5. An autopsy is pending but there does not appear to be any sign of foul play or cause for public safety concern.
A dog that had been barking for an hour was reported in the 2100 block of 16th Avenue at 3:51 p.m. Sunday, May 5. Police located a dog owner in the area but the dog owner didn't think it was her dog that had been barking.

NEW GLARUS - Tylor R. Heiligenthal, 20, New Glarus, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under the state's domestic-abuse law and on a charge of criminal damage to property after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence at 7:24 p.m. Monday, April 29. He was jailed.
Allie M. Hackmann, 20, Manitowoc, was cited for speeding on Wisconsin 69 at 11th Avenue at 2:08 a.m. Monday, April 29.
William R. Viney, 21, Belleville, was cited for speeding in the 100 block of County W at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4.
Bradley A. Freitag, 35, Sauk City, was cited for illegal window tinting (13 percent) on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street at 5:35 p.m. Sunday, May 5.

A brown, longer-haired stray cat was reported in the 1800 block of 2nd Street at 1:55 p.m. Friday, May 3. The Green County Humane Society took possession of the cat.
Police assisted the Wisconsin Department of Revenue with an incident in New Glarus at 4 p.m. Friday, May 3.
Police received a complaint at 1:42 p.m. Sunday, May 5, about a truck speeding in a residential area on 8th Avenue. The complainant just wanted the driver talked to. An officer located the truck and warned the driver.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE - Kevin Randall Poulton, 30, Brooklyn, was arrested on a charge of obstructing an officer, a Class A misdemeanor, after deputies investigated a one-vehicle crash. Deputies spoke with two men walking westbound in the W1400 block of Wis. 92 in Brooklyn Township at 2:18 a.m. Friday, May 3. The two men, Poulton and Aaron Bradley Castleberg, 30, Brooklyn, had been involved in a crash in the 400 block of Main Street in Brooklyn. Poulton was driving westbound when he lost control and hit a utility pole on the south side of the road, where the vehicle came to a rest. Neither Poulton or his passenger, Castleberg, reported injuries. Seatbelt usage is unknown due to a lack of cooperation. The moderately damaged vehicle was towed. The utility pole was undamaged. Poulton was also cited for driving with a suspended license, driving too fast for conditions and failure to notify police of an accident. He pleaded not guilty to the obstructing charge in court Monday, May 6. He signed a $1,000 signature bond with the conditions that he not drive without a license or drink. His next court date is June 18.
Martel Demetrius Braxton, 25, and Rashon Jamal Howard, 26, both of Madison, were arrested and jailed on charges of obstructing an officer after deputies and New Glarus police responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Wis. 69 a mile north of New Glarus village limits. An investigation found that a vehicle with an unidentified driver was northbound when it lost control, spun out and became stuck in a field. There were no injuries or damage to the vehicle. Braxton and Howard were located nearby. Howard posted bond and was released. Braxton was held on a Department of Corrections warrant and also charged with cocaine possession. A cash bond was set Monday, May 6, at $200. His next court date is June 18. A third person, Danielle M. Gobel, 22, Belleville, arrived on scene and will be cited for driving with a suspended license. The incident remains under investigation.
Kristofer William Wood, 23, rural Brodhead, was arrested on charges of domestic-related disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the N500 block of Mount Hope Road in Spring Grove Township at 5:10 a.m. Saturday, May 4. Wood had fled the scene but was located later by Rock County deputies at an address in Rock County and taken into custody. In court Monday, May 6, he pleaded not guilty to Class A misdemeanor charges of battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. His signature bond is set at $1,000 with the conditions that he possess no firearms or dangerous weapons, have no contact with the alleged victim and not drink or enter taverns or liquor stores. His next court date is June 18.
Hayden Dale Schliem, 19, South Wayne, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction in the N3900 block of Wis. 69 in Monroe Township at 1:39 a.m. Sunday, May 5. He was also cited for driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol level, following too closely and second-offense underage drinking. A passenger, Kassandra L. Gonzales, 20, Monroe, was cited for first-offense underage drinking. Both were released to a responsible person pending court.
Michael W. Vanpatter, 30, Peoria, was arrested on a second-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on Wis. 69 near Washington Road in Washington Township at 2:41 a.m. Sunday, May 5.
Brenda M. Dimaggio, 46, Brooklyn, was arrested on a probation/parole apprehension request at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, May 5, in the W900 block of Wis. 92 in Brooklyn Township. She was jailed.
Carole D. Myers, 50, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies responded to a traffic complaint about a vehicle westbound on Wis. 81 near County N in Monroe Township at 10:47 p.m. Sunday, May 5. The vehicle was located stopped in the middle of the road. Myers was also cited for failing to maintain control of a vehicle and hit-and-run on property adjacent to the highway. She was jailed pending release to a responsible person. During the investigation, deputies discovered Myers had hit several mailboxes, causing moderate damage to her vehicle. It was towed from the scene. Deputies left Crime Victim Pamphlets at the residences where mailboxes had been damaged.
Andy Amador, 20, Rockford, will be cited for failure to yield right-of-way after deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Wis. 81 and County T in Spring Grove Township at 3:44 p.m. Friday, May 3. The other driver, Conner J. Schexnayder, 20, Winslow, was taken to Monroe Clinic for treatment of his injuries. Amador was uninjured. Amador told deputies he didn't see oncoming traffic while stopped at the intersection and he proceeded south on County T across the intersection, colliding with an eastbound truck driven by Schexnayder. The truck was pushed into the ditch. Amador's vehicle spun around and blocked the east lane of Wis. 81. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed.

DARLINGTON - Lawrence S. Greier, 47, Shullsburg, was arrested on a valid warrant issued by the Allegheny County Sheriff's Department in Pittsburgh, Penn., after deputies responded to Roper Road in Shullsburg Township to check on a person's welfare at 11:42 p.m. Friday, May 3. Greier remains jailed. Shullsburg Police and the Department of Natural Resources assisted at the scene.

In court Monday, May 6, he pleaded not guilty to Class A misdemeanor charges of battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. His signature bond is set at $1,000 with the conditions that he possess no firearms or dangerous weapons, have no contact with the alleged victim and not drink or enter taverns or liquor stores. His next court date is June 18.
Hayden Dale Schliem, 19, South Wayne, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction in the N3900 block of Wis. 69 in Monroe Township at 1:39 a.m. Sunday, May 5. He was also cited for driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol level, following too closely and second-offense underage drinking. A passenger, Kassandra L. Gonzales, 20, Monroe, was cited for first-offense underage drinking. Both were released to a responsible person pending court.
Michael W. Vanpatter, 30, Peoria, was arrested on a second-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on Wis. 69 near Washington Road in Washington Township at 2:41 a.m. Sunday, May 5.
Brenda M. Dimaggio, 46, Brooklyn, was arrested on a probation/parole apprehension request at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, May 5, in the W900 block of Wis. 92 in Brooklyn Township. She was jailed.
Carole D. Myers, 50, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after deputies responded to a traffic complaint about a vehicle westbound on Wis. 81 near County N in Monroe Township at 10:47 p.m. Sunday, May 5. The vehicle was located stopped in the middle of the road. Myers was also cited for failing to maintain control of a vehicle and hit-and-run on property adjacent to the highway. She was jailed pending release to a responsible person. During the investigation, deputies discovered Myers had hit several mailboxes, causing moderate damage to her vehicle. It was towed from the scene. Deputies left Crime Victim Pamphlets at the residences where mailboxes had been damaged.
Andy Amador, 20, Rockford, will be cited for failure to yield right-of-way after deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Wis. 81 and County T in Spring Grove Township at 3:44 p.m. Friday, May 3. The other driver, Conner J. Schexnayder, 20, Winslow, was taken to Monroe Clinic for treatment of his injuries. Amador was uninjured. Amador told deputies he didn't see oncoming traffic while stopped at the intersection and he proceeded south on County T across the intersection, colliding with an eastbound truck driven by Schexnayder. The truck was pushed into the ditch. Amador's vehicle spun around and blocked the east lane of Wis. 81. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed.

DARLINGTON - Lawrence S. Greier, 47, Shullsburg, was arrested on a valid warrant issued by the Allegheny County Sheriff's Department in Pittsburgh, Penn., after deputies responded to Roper Road in Shullsburg Township to check on a person's welfare at 11:42 p.m. Friday, May 3. Greier remains jailed. Shullsburg Police and the Department of Natural Resources assisted at the scene.
Francisco J. Moro-Gomez, 26, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township at 11:08 p.m. Saturday, May 4. He was taken to the jail, where he posted bond and was released.
Franklyn O. Oyawiri, 27, Sun Prairie, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign on West Mount Road in Belmont Township at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, May 4.
Mario J. Oseguera, 21, Platteville, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign on West Mound Road in Belmont Township at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, May 4.
