DARLINGTON POLICE

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, James Garvey, 59, Darlington, was arrested at 3:55 p.m. for driving while intoxicated (third offense) on Ohio Street. He was released pending court.

On Wednesday, Phillip H. Friend, 50, Darlington, was cited at 6:39 p.m. for speeding on an ATV on Spring Street.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - Duwayne O. Mecum, 52, Blanchardville, was cited at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday for battery in the W9400 block of Sawmill Road, Town of York. Dennis O. Said, 70, Blanchardville, was arrested on an Iowa County warrant. Said was released on bond.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• Deputies assisted the Jo Daviess County Sheriff at 1:30 a.m. in Galena.

• Debris on the roadway was reported at 5:29 a.m. on Ferndale Road, Town of Willow Springs.

• A traffic complaint was made at 8:03 a.m. on South Dublin Road, Town of Gratiot.

• David J. Hastings, 36, Dubuque, was cited at 12:54 p.m. for obstructing an officer on 2nd Avenue in Benton.

• A theft was reported at 3:21 p.m. on Alma Street in Benton.

• A deputy assisted the Green County Sheriff at 3:58 p.m. with a traffic complaint on Wisconsin 11, Town of Wayne.

• Animal neglect was reported at 5:15 p.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

• A deputy helped unlock a vehicle at 5:25 p.m. on Locust Street in Blanchardville.

• A deputy provided traffic control at 6:20 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.
