Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On April 30:

♦ An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 6:16 a.m. on Wis. 81 in Argyle Township.

♦ Livestock on the road was reported at 7:36 a.m. on Cherry Road in Wiota Township.

♦ Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:12 a.m. on Holland Road in Seymour Township.

♦ Trespassing was reported at 10:15 a.m. on Center Street in South Wayne.

♦ Livestock on the road was reported at 11:26 a.m. in Wiota Township.

♦ A deputy responded at 12:04 p.m. to Sheldon Street in Gratiot for a welfare check.

♦ An erratic driver was reported at 4:03 p.m. on County XX in Belmont Township.

♦ Cole R. Gollmer, 20, Darlington, was cited for reckless driving-endanger safety, disorderly conduct, no proof of insurance and failure to yield to passing vehicle at 5:33 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township. Darlington Police Department assisted on scene.

♦ A deputy responded at 5:38 p.m. to Heller Court in Shullsburg to assist with a vehicle unlock.

♦ A deputy assisted with traffic control for a disabled vehicle at 7:06 p.m. on Roller Coaster Road in Darlington Township.

♦ An erratic driver was reported at 7:44 p.m. on Bridge Street in Gratiot.

♦ An animal problem was reported at 9:09 p.m. to Bean Street Road in Benton Township.

♦ A deputy assisted Darlington Police with a welfare check at 11:54 p.m. on Sunset Terrace in Darlington.

♦ Amber L. Myers, 41, Blanchardville, was arrested for operating while revoked at 11:54 p.m. on Wis. 78 in Argyle Township after a deputy encountered a car versus deer crash. Myers was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and released.

On May 1:

♦ Susan A. Redfearn, 47, Platteville, was arrested on a probation and parole violation at 12:33 p.m. Redfearn was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where she remains in custody.

♦ A deputy responded at 12:37 p.m. to Alma Street in Benton for a check welfare.

♦ An ordinance violation was reported at 3:07 p.m. on South Warren Street in South Wayne.

♦ A traffic hazard was reported at 3:16 p.m. on County H in Elk Grove Township.

♦ A parking problem was reported at 4:09 p.m. on South Warren Street in South Wayne.

♦ An injured animal in the road was reported at 4:29 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Wayne Township.

♦ Livestock on the road was reported at 9:37 p.m. on County F in Willow Springs Township.

♦ An animal bite was reported at 9:45 p.m. on East Water Street in Shullsburg.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On April 21:

♦ David G. Potter, 56, Monroe, was arrested for operating while under the influence of alcohol (3rd offense) at 11:10 a.m. in the W7700 block of Franklin Road in the Town of Cadiz. Potter was jailed pending bond or court.

♦ Mitchell P. Ruegsegger, 34, Brooklyn, was arrested for disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, battery and criminal trespass to dwelling at 9:45 p.m. in the N6500 block of English Settlement Road in Albany. Ruegsegger was also arrested on a warrant through La Crosse. Ruegsegger was jailed pending bond or court.

On April 22:

♦ Deputies attempted a warrant arrest for Thomas N. Parker Jr., 53,Valparaiso, Indiana, at 7:44 a.m. in the N7900 block of County CC, Town of Exeter. While speaking with the residents at the house, Parker was observed fleeing from the residence. Deputies gave pursuit and were able to catch Parker. Parker was then taken into custody on the warrants and search of him located drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana. Parker was transported to the Green Count Jail on the Indiana warrant for failure to register as a sex offender and the drug charges. Parker is awaiting a court appearance.

On April 26:

♦ Riley J. Lee, 17, Dodgeville, was arrested for battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property at 12:13 p.m. in the N9400 block of Wis. 78 in the Town of York. Lee was held at the Green County Jail without bond pending court. Katie Q. Dobbs, 17, Ridgeway, was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct. Dobbs was held at the Green County Jail pending bond or court. The Iowa County Sheriff's Office assisted in arresting Lee and Dobbs. The case remains under investigation. New Glarus Police, Blanchardville Police and Blanchardville EMS also responded.

On April 28:

♦ Joshua D. Hendrickson, 32, Monroe, was arrested for operating while under the influence of alcohol (1st offense) at 12:16 a.m. in the N5000 block of Wis. 104 in the Town of Albany. Hendrickson was also cited for operating left of center and failure to stop at a stop sign. Hendrickson was released pending court.

On April 30:

♦ James E. Edge, 32, Darlington, was cited for operating after revocation (criminal) at 1:07 a.m. while his vehicle was parked in the W9400 block of Wis. 81 in the Town of Adams. Edge was released pending court.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Jean E. Justice, 23, Monroe, was arrested following an investigation into another complaint at 4:55 a.m. April 27 in the 400 block of West 21st Street. Justice was wanted on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and was confined in the Green County Jail.



Albany Police

ALBANY - Eowyn Brewer, 43, Albany, was cited for animals at large on April 24.

♦ Theodore P. Alexander, 54, Albany, was cited for operation after suspension on April 27.
