Albany Police

ALBANY - Chad R. Heins, 33, Albany, was arrested Friday, May 24, on a warrant issued by Green County for failure to pay child support.

• Cole T. Hulbert, 25, Albany, was arrested Sunday, May 26, on a charge of drinking alcohol outside.

• Johnathon F. Rindy, 24, Blanchardville, was arrested Sunday, May 26, on a charge of drinking alcohol outside.

• Kenneth D. Bejster, 48, Albany, was cited Monday, May 20, for failing to vaccinate a dog, failing to license a dog and not following his duties as a dog owner following a dog-bite incident.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Darmin David Aviles-Ramirez, 25, Darlington, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and without a valid license at about 12:55 p.m. Monday, May 27, following a traffic stop on Clay Street. He posted bond and was released pending court.

• Jeremy M. Mullen, 33, Darlington, was cited for damage to property at about 5:40 p.m. Monday, May 27, as a result of an investigation into an incident that occurred the day before at about 1 a.m. on Ann Street.

• Daniel F. Rolli, 18, Darlington, was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at about 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, following an investigation at a residence on Harriet Street.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Justin D. Nyman, 21, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping after police responded to the 1500 block of 11th Street at 9:06 p.m. Saturday, May 25. Two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and a Class A misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property, all related to the incident Saturday, were filed against Nyman in Green County Circuit Court on Tuesday, May 28. His cash bond is set at $200 and his signature bond at $1,800 with the conditions that he not drink, go into bars or liquor stores or have violent or abusive contact with a woman or her residence in the 1500 block of 11th Street. His next court date is June 4.

• Melinda A. Jacobson, 43, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 12:17 a.m. Sunday, May 26, on 9th Street at 14th Avenue. She was also cited for having open intoxicants in the vehicle. She was released pending court.

• Matthew T. Tousignant, 26, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping after police responded to a noise complaint of a possible underage drinking party in the 1800 block of 11th Street at 1:30 a.m. Monday, May 27. A bunch of people were standing on the lawn and in the street and scattered as police arrived. Tousignant was found to have been drinking, in violation of a court-ordered bond condition that he not drink. He was jailed. Mackenzie J. Brunker, 20, Monroe, was cited for underage drinking and released to a responsible person. Other citations may be pending.

• Tara C. Leopold, 28, Monroe, was cited for allowing dogs to bark excessively, creating a nuisance, after police responded to a complaint of barking in the 1500 block of 23rd Street at 8:07 p.m. Thursday, May 23.

• Two 15-year-old Monroe boys were cited for riding play vehicles in the street after an officer on patrol saw them skateboarding down 9th Street at 7:11 p.m. Monday, May 27. The boys have been previously warned not to skateboard in the middle of the street.

• Police were called to a fight in progress between family members at a residence in the 1000 block of 17th Street at 11:32 p.m. Wednesday, May 22. All admitted involvement in the fight. Nobody was cited or arrested, but the case was sent to the district attorney for review. Police were again called to the same residence at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, for a dispute between brother and sister over access to the home. Police deemed the case civil, not criminal.

• Police were called at 8:35 a.m. Thursday, May 23, to investigate the death of a 51-year-old man in the 100 block of 18th Avenue. There does not appear to be any sign of foul play or cause for public safety concern.

• Multiple traffic-related citations are pending against a man after police responded to several complaints over the weekend. He was warned following a report that people were popping wheelies on mopeds in the 200 block of West 22nd Street Court at 4:13 p.m. Thursday, May 23, and also warned the same day at 8:49 p.m. after he was seen operating a motocross bike without a headlight on a trail in the area of West 21st Street and 4th Avenue West. When police were again called for a popping-wheelies complaint in the 200 block of West 22nd Street Court at 6:21 p.m. Sunday, May 26, they began the citation process against the man.

• Unauthorized dumping into a commercial Dumpster in the 600 block of 4th Avenue, behind Dollar General, was reported at 4:17 p.m. Thursday, May 23. Police got a license plate number from the offending vehicle, and the case remains under investigation.

• A dog bite of an 8-year-old boy was reported in the 900 block of 11th Street at 5:25 p.m. Thursday, May 23. A parent took the boy to Monroe Clinic for treatment of his minor injury. The dog is up-to-date with vaccinations.

• A 20-foot boat and a trailer were reported stolen from Xtreme Marine, 1109 17th St., at 7:58 a.m. Friday, May 24. A suspect is under investigation.

• High school students were warned for littering after police responded to a complaint of kids smoking and tossing butts in the area of 17th Avenue and 26th Street at 12:32 p.m. Friday, May 24.

• A "pretty big" dog named Rudy was reported missing from the 600 block of 20th Avenue at 2:47 p.m. Friday, May 24. Rudy is reddish in color and has a collar. If found, call dispatch at 608-329-2400.

• Police responded to a complaint of unmowed grass at a residence in the 600 block of 22nd Avenue at 4:10 p.m. Friday, May 24. An old warning notice for snow removal was still in the front door. Police are working to get the grass mowed.

• Door-to-door peddlers were warned to get a permit after police responded to a complaint in the area of 13th Avenue and 16th Street at 5:53 p.m. Friday, May 24.

• A man fled barefoot from Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W., after he was confronted for shoplifting shoes and was reported at 8:28 p.m. Friday, May 24. Police did not locate him but are still investigating.

• A 2-year-old girl was treated for minor injuries after her family's Chihuahua bit her in the face in the 1000 block of 12th Street at 8:50 p.m. Friday, May 24. The bite was reported to the Green County Health Department.

• A civil dispute between foster father and foster daughter was reported in the 200 block of 4th Avenue at 2:26 p.m. Saturday, May 25.

• Police responded to complaint of a vehicle parked on grass in the 500 block of 22nd Street at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25. The owner was warned to move it and complied.

• An iPod was found in the street in the 1800 block of 15th Avenue and brought to the police station at 2:48 p.m. Saturday, May 25. To claim, call dispatch at 608-329-2400.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 7:25 a.m. Sunday, May 26, at Kwik Trip, 1019 9th St.

• Front and back license plates were reported stolen off a vehicle parked in the 2200 block of 8th Avenue at 4:43 p.m. Sunday, May 26.

• Police responded to a noise complaint from a downstairs tenant in the 2200 block of 1st Street about an upstairs neighbor at 9:29 p.m. Sunday, May 26. The upstairs neighbor told police he was playing fetch with his dog. He was warned to be more considerate.

• Revelers at an all-day house party in the 2200 block of 16th Street were warned to quiet down at 10:24 p.m. Sunday, May 26, after police responded to a noise complaint.

• A person flagged down an officer in the 1800 block of 11th Street at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 27, to report catching a dog that had been running loose. The dog was returned to its owner, who was warned for allowing it to roam.

• Police responded to a 911 call reporting a dispute between a father and daughter in the 800 block of 19th Street at 2:23 p.m. Monday, May 27. No primary aggressor was identified. Both were warned.

• A woman in the 500 block of West 21st Street complained at 4:44 p.m. Monday, May 27, that her ex-husband was refusing to give her the keys to a vehicle that's in both their names. The matter is civil, not criminal.

• A man who claimed to be homeless was warned for trespassing on the grounds of Northside Elementary School at 5:28 p.m. Monday, May 27.

• Teenagers were warned for doing "burn-outs" with a vehicle in a driveway at a residence in the 2500 block of 10th Street after police responded to a neighbor's complaint at 5:59 p.m. Monday, May 27. Police also talked with a mother at the home.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Nancy R. Krueger, 61, New Glarus, was arrested at 6:44 p.m. Monday, May 20, on an active warrant issued by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. She was jailed.

• Nicholas A. Elmer, 18, New Glarus, was cited for failing to stop for an adult school crossing guard after police responded to a complaint of the violation in the 1400 block of 2nd Street at 7:55 a.m. Monday, May 20.

• Steven M. Dionne, Jr., 23, Lodi, was cited for an expired vehicle registration and a seatbelt violation at 2:36 p.m. Monday, May 20, in the 800 block of Wisconsin 69.

• Robert B. Cepeda-Smith, 17, Baraboo, was cited for unlawful use of a phone after police responded to a complaint of profane text messages at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 21.

• Lori A. Wilson McGowan, 45, Monticello, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 10:07 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, after police stopped her for an equipment violation on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Clayton A. Johnson, 28, Monroe, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 12:33 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, after police stopped him for an equipment violation on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Sonora A. Stark, 20, Stoughton, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, after police stopped her for a registration violation on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Cary R. Grant, 44, New Glarus, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 4:54 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, on 14th Avenue at 1st Street.

• LaVern Isely, 78, Monroe, was cited for speeding in the 1100 block of Wis. 69 at 8:24 a.m. Thursday, May 23.

• Christopher T. Odair, 34, Dodgeville, was cited for driving with a revoked license and for a seatbelt violation at 5:02 p.m. Thursday, May 23, on 6th Avenue at 3rd Street.

• Aaron M. Pryce, 21, Albany, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and for a seatbelt violation at 4:19 p.m. Friday, May 24, in the 600 block of Wis. 69.

• Glen V. Turner, 40, New Glarus, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and for a seatbelt violation at 5:32 p.m. Friday, May 24, on 6th Avenue at 1st Street.

• Travis M. Paul, 23, Monroe, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and for a seatbelt violation at 6:42 p.m. Friday, May 24, on Industrial Drive at Hoesly Drive.

• Helmut Seaman, 84, Middleton, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 4:39 p.m. Saturday, May 25, on 4th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• Lindsey M. Carpenter, 28, rural Monticello, was cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle after police observed the violation on 6th Avenue at Durst Road at 7:51 p.m. Friday, May 25.

• Ian B. Farrell, 17, and Kevin J. Sutter, 19, both of Mount Horeb, were cited for underage drinking after police stopped a vehicle for a defective headlight on 2nd Avenue at 3rd Street at 3:26 a.m. Sunday, May 26. Farrell and Sutter were passengers in the vehicle.

• Paige N. Wiecinski, 29, Henrico, Va., was cited for inattentive driving after police responded to a two-car crash at 2:28 p.m. Sunday, May 26. A witness to the crash, Whitney M. Ryman, 26, New Glarus, was cited for driving with a suspended license. Wiecinski rearended a vehicle driven by Michael J. Larson, 48, New Glarus, as he was stopped in traffic on Wis. 69 and making a left turn onto 11th Avenue. A passenger in the Larson vehicle reported minor injuries. Wiecinski and her passenger reported no injuries. All were wearing seatbelts. Both vehicles were severely damaged.

• Ryan E. Thomas, 30, McFarland, was cited for driving with a revoked license and an expired vehicle registration at 4:47 p.m. Sunday, May 26, on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Gas drive-offs were reported at 9:41 a.m. and 10:01 a.m. Monday, May 20, at Ampride, 1401 Wis. 69. In both cases, the driver was identified and later returned to pay for the gas. No charges were requested.

• Police were dispatched to a 911 disconnect from a cellphone on 1st Street at 4:07 p.m. Monday, May 20. A small child had been on the line. A Dane County dispatcher referred the call. Police checked the area and did not locate the source of the call.

• Police were dispatched for complaints of a dog running loose at 5:29 p.m. and again at 8:38 p.m. Thursday, May 23.

• Police had to remove a man who was being disorderly and refusing to leave a beer tent at the New Glarus Music Fest at 8:43 p.m. Sunday, May 26. He was released and found his way home.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Mitchell R. Haug, 18, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping after deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on County G south of Shanghai Road in Spring Grove Township at 1:43 a.m. Saturday, May 25. Haug was also cited for underage drinking and jailed pending court. A passenger, Brendon M. Jamison, 18, Monroe, was cited for underage drinking, as was a 16-year-old female passenger.
