Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jeffrey S. Dampier, 51, Juda, was cited for driving while intoxicated (first offense) after deputies responded to a rollover accident in the W3300 block of County SS in Sylvester Township at 7:31 p.m. Tuesday, May 21. Dampier was eastbound when a deer entered the road. He swerved to miss it, causing his vehicle to roll several times before coming to a rest on its wheels. He was transported by Monroe EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. Dampier was also cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle, non-registration of a motor vehicle and driving with a revoked license.

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, May 21:

• Kelsey C. Boehm, 21, Brimfield, Ill., was cited for speeding at 12:22 p.m. on U.S. 151 in Kendall Township.

• A dog bite to a human was reported at 11:42 a.m. on County I in New Diggings Township.

• Deputies responded at 4:30 p.m. to a disturbance at a residence on North Van Buren Street in Benton.
