Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Sunday, May 12:

• Daniel Aguilar, 41, Beloit, was arrested on a charge of obstructing an officer by providing false identifying information to deputies who stopped him on Wis. 11/81 near Wis. 59 after they responded at 6:55 p.m. to a complaint of an erratic driver on Wis. 11 near Dolan Lane in Monroe Township. Aguilar was also cited for driving with a suspended license, driving without vehicle insurance and making an improper left turn. He was jailed pending cash bond or an initial court appearance.

• Nicholas Johnson, 19, Juda, was arrested on charges of domestic-related disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after deputies responded at 7:46 p.m. to a disturbance at a home in the W2900 block of Main Street, Juda, Jefferson Township. He was also cited for underage drinking. He was jailed pending cash bond or an initial appearance in court.

• Bobbie J. Foster, 32, Monticello, was cited for inattentive driving after Green County deputies responded at 12:19 p.m. to a vehicle vs. power pole crash on Wis. 69 near Cold Springs Road in Monroe Township. Foster was northbound following a group of cars when she directed her attention away from the road. In the meantime, the cars in front of her slowed down. When she returned her attention to the road, she had to swerve to avoid a collision. Her vehicle went into the ditch and collided with a power pole. Neither Foster or her passenger reported injuries. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed.

• Randall S. Zuber, 35, Monticello, was arrested at the Green County Justice Center at 3:46 p.m. Monday, May 13, on warrant issued by the Department of Corrections. He was incarcerated.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Joseph M. Burbach, 27, Mineral Point, was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speeding on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township at 5:45 p.m. Friday, May 10.

• Meritas Luevano de Lopez, 20, Lake Geneva, was cited for driving without a valid license on County G in Argyle Township at 1:37 a.m. Saturday, May 11. Alma Y. Alba, 33, Stone Park, Ill., was cited for allowing an unauthorized person to drive. Both posted bond and were released.

• Joshua T. Butteris, 26, Dodgeville, was cited for an expired vehicle registration and driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 126 in Elk Grove Township at 12:43 p.m. Saturday, May 11.

• Suyog B. Moon, 27, Saddle Brook, N.J., was cited for driving without a valid license on County W in Monticello Township at 6:07 p.m. Saturday, May 11.

• Dustin W. White, Jr., 20, Monroe, was cited for speeding and driving without proof of vehicle insurance on Wis. 81 in Lamont Township at 12:48 p.m. Sunday, May 12.

• Faye J. Millage, 50, Platteville, was cited for driving with a suspended vehicle registration on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township at 4:21 p.m. Sunday, May 12.

• Disorderly conduct was reported on East Center Street in South Wayne at 3:15 p.m. Friday, May 10.

• A break-in of a camper parked at a location on County KK in Gratiot Township was reported at 12:20 p.m. Saturday, May 11. Sometime in the past six months, an unknown person entered the camper and ransacked it. A radio was also discovered missing.

• The theft of a road sign from Ench Road in Benton Township was reported at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11. Township officials were notified to replace the sign.

• A theft of jewelry from a residence on Wis. 78 in Wiota Township was reported at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, May 11. A suspect has been named, and the incident remains under investigation.

• A theft from a residence on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle was reported at 11:22 a.m. Sunday, May 12. A suspect has been named. The case is being turned over to Argyle police for investigation.

• A deputy responded to assist in a civil dispute on West Harriet Street in Shullsburg at 2:44 p.m. Sunday, May 12.

• Daniel S. Holst, 33, Monroe, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and failing to fasten his seatbelt at 3:50 p.m. Monday, May 13, at an unspecified location.

• A restraining order violation was reported on West Main Street in Benton at 1:33 p.m. Monday, May 13.

• A dog bite of a human was reported on County M in Wiota Township at 5:35 p.m. Monday, May 13.

• A deputy responded to West Harrison Street in Shullsburg at 7:04 p.m. Monday, May 13, to keep the peace during a civil dispute.

Monroe Police

MONROE - William B. Robison, 20, Monroe, and Amanda R. Sauri, 17, Brodhead, reportedly jumped 20 feet out of an apartment window to avoid police after officers responded to a 911 call about disturbance at an apartment complex in the 2700 block of 8th 1/2 Street at 4:06 a.m. Sunday, May 12. Robison was cited for battery, underage drinking, disorderly house and two counts of disorderly conduct. Sauri was cited for battery, disorderly conduct, damaging property, obstructing police and underage drinking. A third person at the scene, Ryu R. Voegeli, 19, Monroe, was cited for underage drinking. Robison and Sauri were taken to Monroe Clinic for a checkup and then released to a responsible party.

On Friday, May 10:

• A tenant in the 400 block of 21st Street was issued a final warning after a neighbor complained at 1:19 a.m. that the tenant regularly takes out garbage in the early morning hours, causing too much noise.

• Police were called to Northside Elementary School at 12:45 p.m. for an out-of-control 8-year-old boy. He had calmed down by the time officers arrived.

• Police are investigating a complaint made at 1:50 p.m. that someone is using a fake ID to buy liquor at a business in the 900 block of 20th Avenue. The case remains under investigation.

• A pitbull with a collar but no tags was found by a resident in the 2300 block of 17th Avenue at 2:49 p.m. The dog was taken to the Green County Humane Society.

• A U-Haul tow dolly reported stolen in Florida was found abandoned at 3:10 p.m. in the parking lot of a car dealership in the 100 block of West 8th Street. U-Haul was contacted to come get it.

• At 3:31 p.m., police were again called by tenants complaining about each other in the 400 block of 21st Street. Police told them to take their concerns to the landlord.

• A woman came into the police station at 4:06 p.m. to complain that her ex-husband's girlfriend is not supposed to be at his home when she brings over their children for visitation. The matter is civil, not criminal, and police referred her to the Green County court commissioner.

• A man reported at 4:19 p.m. that he lost his wallet in the 600 block of 22nd Avenue. If found, call dispatch at 608-329-2400.

• A 15-year-old boy was warned at 5:41 p.m. for riding his bicycle on the sidewalk downtown in the 1000 block of 16th Avenue.

• A woman came into the police station at 6:26 p.m. to find out what her options are for dealing with someone who makes slanderous comments about her.

• Police were called at 9:25 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. to an ongoing civil dispute between parents in the 1600 block of 11th Street about childcare, child placement and harassing Facebook messages. The parents had been court-ordered not to have any abusive contact.

On Saturday, May 11:

• Loiterers were warned to clear out of the parking lot of Taco Bell, 606 W. 8th St., after the restaurant's manager reported them at 12:38 a.m.

• Police were called at 9:48 a.m. to check the welfare of a 62-year-old man at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West. He had died. There does not appear to be any sign of foul play or cause for public safety concern.

• Possible vandalism was reported at 11:17 a.m. in the 1600 block of 17th Street. A rear taillight on a vehicle had been broken out.

• The theft of a mountain bike from a yard in the 1300 block of 16th Street was reported at 2:23 p.m.

• A tenant in the 400 block of 21st Street was warned to turn it down after police responded at 4:48 p.m. to a neighbor's complaint of loud music.

On Sunday, May 12:

• Eggings were reported in the morning in the 500 block of West 21st Street, 1300 block of 21st Avenue and 2100 block of 12th Street.

• A stray cat described as "butterscotch" in color was reported found at 11:48 a.m. in the 600 block of 30th Street. It will be taken to the Green County Humane Society.

• Fraudulent use of personal information to open a U.S. Cellular account was reported at 1:03 p.m. in the 2600 block of 8th Avenue.

• The manager of an apartment complex in the 700 block of 12th Avenue reported at 3:12 p.m. that an older man was sleeping in a common hallway. The man was intoxicated. He told police he was taking a nap. Police turned him over to a family member.

• An out-of-control 13-year-old boy was reported at 3:18 p.m. at a residence in the 1600 block of 13th Avenue. He was in control by the time officers arrived.

• A red flip cellphone was found in Forest Prairie Park and turned over to police at 3:41 p.m. If found, call dispatch at 608-329-2400.

• Unwanted messages on Facebook between several 18-year-olds were reported at 4:02 p.m. in the 700 block of 14th Avenue.

• Unwanted texts between several young men were reported at 4:47 p.m. in the 600 block of Sunrise Court.

• An officer observed an 11-year-old boy taking aluminum cans out of a collection bin in the 1800 block of 12th Street, across from the police station. The collection is to raise money for Green County EMS. The boy was warned.

• The theft of a handicapped parking placard was reported at 6:56 p.m. in the parking lot of Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W. Police reviewed surveillance video and found the report unfounded.

• A possible shortchange scam was reported at 8:04 p.m. at Pick 'n' Save, 246 8th St. Police are investigating leads.

• Police were called at 8:59 p.m. to the 1000 block of 17th Street for a dispute between two women over an Internet password their daughters had shared the night before at a sleepover. They were advised to work it out by changing the password.

On Monday, May 13:

• A property owner in the 1500 block of 11th Avenue was warned at 8:30 a.m. to mow the grass.

• The theft of an Apple iPad from a Colony Brands business in the 2900 block of 11th Avenue was reported at 8:37 a.m.

• Dog maltreatment was reported at 9:33 a.m. in the 1300 block of 16th 1/2 Street. Police determined the dog actually lives elsewhere in the county and referred the complaint to the Green County Sheriff's Department.

• An unruly 13-year-old boy was reported at 10:07 a.m. at Monroe Alternative Charter School. The case was referred to Green County Human Services and for possible charging.

• A man in the 2200 block of Ridgeway Road reported at 12:27 p.m. that his son was upset, screaming and yelling, because there were still garage sale signs up on terraces across the city but the garage sales were now over.

• Arrangements were made for a lawn in the 2300 block of 11th Avenue to get mowed after police responded to a complaint about the lawn at 1:13 p.m. and discovered the property owner is deceased.

• The mother of an estranged wife complained at the police station at 1:52 p.m. that her soon-to-be son-in-law gave her the finger.

• Possible vandalism was reported at 2:36 p.m. in the 2100 block of 11th Avenue. The back window on a mini van was broken.

• School authorities at Parkside Elementary asked police at 2:59 p.m. to come over and talk with an 11-year-old boy about his bullying of another 11-year-old boy. An officer warned the boy in the presence of a parent.
