Albany Police

ALBANY - Two juvenile female students were arrested for disorderly conduct Thursday, May 9, after a fight in the cafeteria at Albany High School.

• A 14-year-old boy at Albany Middle School was arrested for battery Friday, May 10.

• Deanna L. Klosterman, 40, Monroe, was arrested Saturday, May 11, on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol level and failure to obey an official sign.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Erick Vargas-Santos, 20, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving without a valid license (second offense) at 10:40 a.m. Sunday, May 12, following a traffic crash on Washington Street. He was also cited for inattentive driving and driving without vehicle insurance.

• Cited for underage drinking at 2:50 a.m. Friday, May 3, were David M. Maurizzi, 20, Beloit; Skyler S. Torrey, 19, Necedah; and Taylor S. Weyenberg and Joseph P. Jados, both 18 and of Plainfield, Ill. The citations were issued following a traffic stop on Louisa Street. The Lafayette County Sheriff's Department assisted.

• Rodmiro Gutierrez-Santacruz, 22, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license on Ohio Street at 12:33 a.m. Sunday, May 12.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Joshua T. Leopold, 33, Monroe, was arrested for a violation of a temporary restraining order after officers responded to the 300 block of 2nd Street at 6:37 p.m. Friday, May 10. He was jailed pending cash bond.

• David A. Noll, 60, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after officers responded to an accident in the 2500 block of 13th Street at 7:53 p.m. Saturday, May 11. Noll was released pending court.

• Terry J. Brady, 43, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping at 12:42 a.m. Sunday, May 12, in the 100 block of 18th Avenue. He was jailed.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Brandon J. Perkins, 19, New Glarus, was cited for insufficient tread depth at 6:31 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, on 2nd Street at 9th Avenue. The rear tires on his vehicle were bald.

• A student at New Glarus High School was cited for truancy (second offense) after police responded to a report at 2:01 p.m. Friday, May 10, that the student had missed several days of school. The student's parent was also cited, for a parental truancy liability violation.

• Police responded to New Glarus Schools at 2:42 p.m. Friday, May 10, to talk with a student who had been bullying another student. The student was talked to, and no other action was taken.

• An unknown person spray-painted a phallic object on a tree in the 600 block of the Sugar River Trail. The vandalism was reported at 10:13 p.m. Friday, May 10. An investigation continues.

• Police kept the peace during a civil dispute in the village at 9:31 a.m. Saturday, May 11. Arrangements were made for a person to get some personnel items from a residence.
