Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On March 5:

♦ Steven J. Czechowski, 57, South Wayne was cited for operating after suspension, no proof of insurance and displaying wrong plates at 3:05 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

♦ A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 6:33 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.

♦ A deputy assisted with traffic control at 6:36 p.m. on Red Rock Road in Darlington Township.

♦ A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 7:14 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Argyle Township. The vehicle was unattended and was towed.

On March 6:

♦ Livestock on the road was reported at 7:45 a.m. on Cisserville Road in Wiota Township.

♦ Harassment was reported at 9:39 a.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

♦ A deputy assisted a citizen at 10:31 a.m. on Martin Road in Monticello Township.

♦ A deputy responded at 1:11 p.m. to Park Street in Wiota for a 911 misdial.

♦ A deputy assisted the Iowa County Sheriff at 2:14 p.m. on County F in Blanchardville with a one-vehicle accident.

♦ Scot M. Meneguin, 32, Argyle, was arrested by the Argyle Police Department at 4:26 p.m. at East Milwaukee Street in Argyle on a valid probation and parole warrant. Meneguin was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.

♦ Livestock on the road was reported at 4:55 p.m. on County F in Willow Springs Township.

♦ A suspicious vehicle was reported at 9:24 p.m. on Robert Homb Memorial Drive in South Wayne.

♦ A deputy assisted Darlington Police at 10:16 p.m. on East Louisa Street in Darlington with a welfare check.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On March 3:

♦ A black cat was found at 2:12 p.m. in the 600 block of Wis. 69. The caller advised she took the cat to the Green County Humane Society.

♦ A domestic disturbance was reported at 4:35 p.m. in the 500 block of 14th Avenue. Naomi R. Balderas, 34, New Glarus, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct. The Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole placed a Probation hold on Balderas. Balderas was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

On March 4:

♦ Suspicious activity was reported at 1:16 p.m. in the 300 block of 12th Avenue. No immediate problem was found.

♦ Police located an abandoned vehicle at 2:28 p.m. on the shoulder of Wis. 69 at 14th Avenue. The vehicle was tagged and is pending removal.

♦ Theft of lawn ornaments was reported at 4:43 p.m. in the 700 block of 2nd Street. The matter is under investigation.

♦ Police cited a vehicle at 8:06 p.m. in the municipal parking lot on Railroad Street between 6th and 7th Avenue for a 24-hour violation.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On March 5:

♦ Keith D. Hartje, 22, Edgerton, was arrested for 10 counts of felony bail jumping, three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, obstructing, criminal damage to property and possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:13 p.m. in the W4900 block of Edelweiss Road in New Glarus. Hartje was jailed pending court.

On March 6:

♦ Elizabeth Anzures, 35, Janesville, was cited for operating without a license (3rd offense) at 2:23 a.m. in the W4300 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Jefferson. She was released pending court.

♦ Mitchell J. Dalsing, 19, New Glarus, and Noah J. Dalsing, 17, New Glarus, were cited for disorderly conduct at 7:36 a.m. in the W5300 block of Windmill Ridge Road in New Glarus. Both were released pending court.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Sheena L. McLemore, 33, Monroe, was arrested at 5:54 a.m. March 2 in the 2000 block of Ridgeway Road on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. McLemore was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.



Albany Police

ALBANY - Jamie A. Krueger, 42, Albany, was arrested on a Grant County warrant Feb. 27.

On March 2:

♦ Cody L. Calkins, 22, Albany, was cited for operating after revocation.

♦ David B. Lyons, 59, Albany, was cited for operating after suspension.

On March 4:

♦ Marcus J. Phiffer, 22, Monroe, was arrested for operating left of the center line, operating after suspension and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant (second offense).

♦ Daniel A. Schofield, 23, Brodhead, was cited for open intoxicants.

♦ James R. Schmitz, 47, Albany, was cited for operating after suspension.

♦ Leslie A. M. Kurabelis, 35, Albany, was cited for operating after suspension.
