Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Derrick A. Schwartzlow, 30, Monroe, was arrested for domestic abuse, disorderly conduct, battery and second degree recklessly endangering safety, after deputies responded to a domestic dispute at about 2 a.m. Tuesday in a vehicle on Wisconsin 11 east of County S in the Town of Jefferson. Schwartzlow was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Dean S. Plumb, 67, Roscoe, Ill, was cited for speeding at about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Phillip A. Justin, 20, South Wayne, was cited for expired registration and no vehicle insurance at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Monroe Street in South Wayne.

- David A Schumacher, 50, (no address given), was cited for driving while suspended at about 6 p.m. Tuesday on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

- Anjanette M. Vasquez, 23, Platteville, was taken into custody at about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday by Platteville Police Department for a Lafayette County child support warrant. Vazquez was transported to Lafayette County jail and released after posting bond.

- A deputy took a report of criminal damage to property at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday on W. Liberty Road in the Town of Belmont. Deputies report several mobile homes in the area had received damage.

- A deputy investigated a report of criminal damage to property at a residence on Temple Avenue in Benton at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

- A deputy took a report at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday for a dog bite incident that occurred at a residence on County XX in the Town of Belmont. Deputies report a four-year-old child was playing with a relative's dog and was bitten on the face. The child was taken by private vehicle to Southwest Healthcare in Platteville for treatment. Information on the incident was turned over to Lafayette County Health Department for follow up.
