BRODHEAD - For the week of March 11 to March 17, the Brodhead Police reported 21 calls for service, 17 follow up to incidents, 16 vehicle registrations, 51 citizen assists, 19 security checks, eight assists with other agencies, six traffic stops, 15 911 calls, three fire calls and six EMS calls.

On March 11:

• Theft was reported at 4:59 p.m. in the 400 block of East 5th Avenue. A sign was removed from the property. The investigation continues.

• Theft was reported at 5:26 p.m. in the 1700 block of West 3rd Avenue. A sign was removed from the property. The investigation continues.

On March 12:

• Vandalism was reported at 7:39 a.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue. A car window was damaged. The investigation continues.

• Theft was reported at 6:08 p.m. in the 2000 block of West 7th Avenue. Property was taken from a vehicle. This matter remains under investigation.

On March 14:

• Truancy was reported at 10:15 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. Contact was made and two warnings were issued.

• A dog at large was reported at 4:28 p.m. to the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue. The owner was contacted and warning was issued.

• A 37-year-old Brodhead man was cited for disorderly conduct at 6:52 p.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue following a verbal altercation.

On March 15:

• A 23-year-old Brodhead man was cited for parking left side of highway at 7:33 a.m. in the 1600 block of 20th Street.

• Possession of tobacco by underage person was reported at 7:36 a.m. in the 600 block of East Exchange Street. This matter remains under investigation.

• A 15-year-old was cited for disorderly conduct at 9:39 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

• A 15-year-old was cited for possession tobacco product by underage person at 9:40 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

• Trespassing was reported at 10:31 a.m. in the 400 block of 2nd Street. A subject was reported walking behind a building. Contact was made and the subject was looking for lost property.

• A parking violation was reported at 8:07 p.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue. Upon investigation, no violation occurred.

On March 16:

• A parking violation was reported at 8:14 a.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue. The vehicle owner was contacted and warned for the 48 hour parking ordinance.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:29 a.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue. A subject was reportedly causing a disturbance. This matter remains under investigation.

• A 16-year-old was cited for possession of tobacco product by underage person in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

• An 18-year-old was cited for disorderly conduct at 10:41 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

On March 17:

• A code violation regarding a fence was reported at 9:13 a.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue. This matter remains under investigation.

• Harassment was reported at 5:03 p.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue. Upon investigation, no violation had occurred.

• Harassment was reported at 7:41 p.m. in the 100 block of 15th Street. No action taken at this time and the matter remains under investigation.

MONROE - On March 18:

• Nicolas M. Paris, 21, Brodhead, was cited for operating without a license (2nd offense) at 8:11 p.m. in the W1100 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Spring Grove.
