DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Feb. 27:

• A deputy responded at 12:13 a.m. to U.S. 151, Belmont Township, to provide traffic control for a disabled vehicle until the vehicle could be removed by a tow service.

• A deputy responded at 1:44 a.m. to the Platteville Police Department to transport Michael R. Fricks, 24, Monroe, to the Lafayette County Jail for a valid body only warrant. Fricks remains jailed.

• A deputy responded to County Club Road, Darlington Township, at 3:20 a.m. to assist a motorist by unlocking a vehicle.

• A deputy responded at 4:06 p.m. to Mitchell Hollow Road, Belmont Township, for a complaint of animal neglect.

• A deputy responded to Meier Road, Wayne Township, for a 911 hang-up call at 4:16 p.m. The call was the result of a child playing with a phone.

• A deputy responded to County W, White Oak Springs Township, for a traffic complaint at 8:53 p.m. of a vehicle driving without headlights. The vehicle was located in Grant County and was experiencing mechanical problems.

• A deputy responded at 9:51 p.m. to Wis. 11, New Diggings Township, to provide traffic control while a motorist changed a flat tire.

• A deputy responded to Wis. 11, Wayne Township at 10:50 p.m. for a report of an injured deer on the highway.
