MONROE - Joel T. Lorenzo, 33, Monroe, was cited for second-offense operating without a valid license and operating without insurance at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday after police stopped him on County K near Gempeler Road in the Town of Clarno. He was released pending court.

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:
• Chase R. Hale, 18, Freeport, Ill., was arrested on a valid warrant and taken to the Lafayette County Jail at 10:19 p.m. after police received a report of suspicious activity on Miner Way in Shullsburg and stopped Hale's vehicle.
• Alfonso Sanchez, 43, Shullsburg, was cited for operating without a valid license and operating without proof of insurance at 2:19 a.m. after police stopped him on Wisconsin 11 in South Wayne.
• Kevin J. Weber, 53, Mills, Wyo., was cited for speeding, operating without proof of insurance and a seatbelt violation at 11:59 p.m. after police stopped him on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.
• Suspicious activity was reported at 8 a.m. on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.
• A traffic complaint was reported at 8:02 a.m. on West Mound Road in the Town of Belmont.
• A traffic complaint was reported at 8:41 a.m. on County A in the Town of Argyle.
