Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON - On Thursday:
• A deputy responded at 6 a.m. to a report of cattle on the roadway on County M, Wiota Township.
• A deputy took a report of a window damaged in the press box at the football field located on Alma Street, Benton at 8:18 a.m.
• A deputy was dispatched at 10:45 a.m. to a 911 hang-up call originating from a residence on West Riverside Road, Gratiot Township. The deputy determined the call was an accidental pocket-dial.
• A deputy investigated a suspicious activity case at 2:19 p.m. at a location on West Center Street, South Wayne.
• Dylan D. Gile, 23, Gratiot, was cited at 3:13 p.m. for expired vehicle registration and no insurance on Wisconsin 11, Wayne Township.
• John C. Ebert, 69, Elizabeth Ill., was cited at 5:38 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 11, Benton Township.
• A deputy took a report of a mailbox that had been damaged on County W, White Oak Springs Township, at 6:40 p.m.
• A deputy responded to a complaint of livestock on the roadway at 7:45 p.m. on County K, Darlington Township.
• A deputy assisted Darlington police in apprehending a suspect allegedly involved in several thefts. The suspect was located and taken into custody at 8:16 p.m. near Pecatonica River Trails Park.
• A deputy took a report of harassment at 8:20 p.m. a residence on Aetna Road, New Diggings Township.
• Duane C. Lee, 61, Cuba City, was arrested at 9:24 p.m. for disorderly conduct while armed following a disturbance at a residence on County X, Elk Grove Township. Lee was later released to a responsible party after posting bond.
