Green County Sheriff
MONROE - Christopher J. Martinez, 32, Monroe, was arrested at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday on a probation warrant at the Green County Justice Center in the probation and parole office. Martinez was jailed pending court.

• A deputy assisted Brodhead police at a location on County XX, Belmont Township, at 11:03 a.m.
• A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up call at 12:02 p.m. on Wisconsin 11, Gratiot Township. The call was unfounded.
• A deputy was dispatched at 1:14 p.m. to a report of a dog running at large on South McKnight Street, Village of South Wayne.
• Lana J. Roper, 30, Gratiot, was cited at 5:46 p.m. for failure to stop at a stop sign and no insurance following a traffic stop on South Varnum Street, Village of South Wayne.
• A deputy checked the welfare of an individual at 7:24 p.m. on County E, Shullsburg Township.
• A deputy responded to a report of livestock on the roadway on Wis. 81, Elk Grove Township, at 9:41 p.m.
