Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Carl C. Leahy, 23, Darlington, was cited for disorderly conduct at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, June 16, following an incident on Louisa Street.

- Veronica Aguilera, 32, Rockford, Ill., was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving without vehicle insurance at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, June 17, following a traffic stop on Wisconsin 23.

Monroe Police

MONROE - The theft of a Coach purse worth $200 out of an unlocked vehicle in the 2300 block of 11th Street was reported at 2:13 p.m.. Monday, June 18. The purse contained a wallet with credit cards and about $5 in cash.

- Two women were warned to calm down after officers responded to a complaint at 3:36 p.m. Monday, June 18, that the women were arguing loudly by the pool in Recreation Park, 1700 22nd Ave.

- A mother in the 2000 block of 14th Avenue called police at 4:57 p.m. Monday, June 18, to report that her daughter had lost her temper and was out of control. An officer was dispatched to calm the situation.

- Police took a report at 8:22 p.m. Monday, June 18 that two black Coral Bell plants worth $10 each were ripped out of a garden in the 1000 block of 2nd Street North.

- A woman's 20-inch Mongoose bicycle was found at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, in the 2100 block of 12th Street. To claim the bicycle, call dispatch at 329-2400.

- The owner of a vacant property in the 700 block of 11th Avenue was issued a warning Monday, June 18, to cut weeds and mow the lawn.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Craig A. Lesperance, 45, Green Bay, was cited for speeding at 2:44 p.m. Thursday, June 14, in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69.

- Gunnar C. Syverson, 20, Mount Horeb, was cited for speeding at 9:09 a.m. Friday, June 15, in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

- Joseph G. Janisch, 28, New Glarus, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 9:17 p.m. Friday, June 15, on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

- Kelvin L. Pryor, 18, Madison, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at an unspecified location.

- Erik J. Madsen, 32, New Glarus was cited for unauthorized lodging after officers responded at 6:28 a.m. Sunday, June 17, to a report of an unwanted person sleeping in a residence. Officers removed Madsen from the residence.

- The theft of an eagle lawn ornament was reported at 11:21 a.m. Tuesday, June 12. The cement ornament stands about 2 1/2 feet high. Anyone with information is encouraged to call dispatch at 527-2145.

- Police took a report at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 16, that a button had been broken off the automatic wash change machine at Premier Wash, 10 14th Ave. Anyone with information is encouraged to call dispatch at 527-2145.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Matthew J. Cryder, 23, Morris, Ill., was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated (first offense) at 4:28 p.m. Saturday, June 16, after deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on South Water Street at Wisconsin 59/East Main Street in Albany. Cryder was released pending court. A passenger in the vehicle, Fred L. Cheshareck, 34, Morris, Ill., was arrested on a warrant issued by the Waushara County Sheriff's Department for failure to pay a fine. Cheshareck was also cited for failure to wear a seatbelt. He posted bond and was released.

- Dustin Allan Trumpy, 18, Monticello, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated (first offense) and cited for unsafe lane deviation at 2:56 a.m. Sunday, June 17, in the W6100 block of County H in the Town of New Glarus. A passenger in Trumpy's vehicle, a 15-year-old New Glarus male, was cited for underage drinking (first offense). Both were released to parents after New Glarus processed the charges.

- Delnore D. Crayton, 17, Albany and Chicago, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, battery and false imprisonment after deputies responded at 4:32 p.m. Monday, June 18, to a domestic dispute at an unspecified location in Albany. He was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Three underage Mineral Point people were booked into jail and then released after a traffic stop at 4:10 p.m. Saturday, June 16, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont. Tiffany Ann Chandler, 17, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and obstructing an officer and cited for littering, underage tobacco possession and failure to wear a seatbelt. Taylor Christine Berg, 17, was arrested on charges of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia and obstructing an officer and cited for littering and failure to wear a seatbelt. Cody C. Dorr, 18, was arrested on charges of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia and cited for failure to wear a seatbelt. A fourth person in the vehicle, Nicholas J. Forbes, 17, Platteville, was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt and released at the scene.

- Scott M. Layde, 32, Ephraim, Utah, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 8:06 a.m. Friday, June 15, on County W in the Town of Monticello.

- Ray Kimura, 44, Madison, was cited for speeding, driving without proof of vehicle insurance and failure to have children in safety restraints at 12:34 p.m. Friday, June 15, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Dorothy A. Molzof, 53, Fennimore, was cited for making an illegal U-turn and failure to have children in safety restraints at 12:53 p.m. Friday, June 15, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Oliver L. Olsen, 77, Menomonee Falls, was cited for speeding at 1:22 p.m. Friday, June 15, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Tony E. Winters, 30, Iowa Falls, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 1:32 p.m. Friday, June 15, on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Amy L. Ferguson, 33, Madison, was cited for speeding at 1:41 p.m. Friday, June 15, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Natalie R. Kramer, 22, Rochester, Minn., was cited for speeding at 2:01 p.m. Friday, June 15, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Paul R. Julson, 17, Dodgeville, was cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 2:27 p.m. Friday, June 15, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Andrey Y. Khoperskiy, 44, Mineral Point, was cited for speeding and failure to stop for a emergency vehicle at 2:54 p.m. Friday, June 15, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Alan L. Lucas, 42, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone after a deputy and Shullsburg police investigated a complaint at 6:12 p.m. Friday, June 12, of a vehicle passing in a no-passing zone on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot. Lucas was located after he reportedly committed the same offense on Wis. 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

- Martin L. Westemeier, 24, Shullsburg, was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt at 7:40 p.m. Friday, June 12, on Wis. 11 in Benton.

- DeeDee L. Seffrood, 40, Monroe, was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt at 2:44 p.m. Saturday, June 16, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Emily A. Myers, 19, Winnebago, Ill., was cited for speeding at 5:19 p.m. Saturday, June 16, on Wisconsin 23 in the Town of Darlington.

- Joshua M. Flannery, 23, Monroe, was cited for reckless driving at 6:46 p.m. Saturday, June 16, on Wis. 81 in Argyle.

- Thomas R. Schmid, 22, Monroe, was cited for non-registration of auto and driving with a suspended license at 11:24 p.m. Saturday, June 16, on County Y in the Town of Wiota.

- Ariel P. Flood, 20, Albany, was cited for underage drinking at 12:21 a.m. Sunday, June 17, on County Y in the Town of Wiota. Owen L. Nally, 27, Monroe, and Matthew C. Kraft, 23, South Wayne, were cited for allowing a minor to consume alcohol.

- Thomas A. Petsche, 29, Iowa City, Iowa, and Christina M. Allen, 19, Monroe, were cited for failure to wear seatbelts at 2:37 p.m. Sunday, June 17, on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

- Eric M. Katzenberger, 44, Monroe, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 3:11 p.m. Sunday, June 17, on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

- Brett L. Broge, 22, Gratiot, was cited for inattentive driving and Robert M. McGranahan, 60, Darlington, was cited for a seatbelt violation after deputies responded at 5:25 p.m. Monday, June 18, to a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Elk Grove. Broge and McGranahan were both driving eastbound when Broge failed to see McGranahan signal a left turn and he rearended McGranahan's vehicle. Both vehicles veered into the ditch, and McGranahan's rolled onto its roof. Both drivers and a passenger in McGranahan's vehicle, Anna K. Beiler, 42, Platteville, were injured and treated by Belmont EMS at the scene but declined ambulance transport. The Belmont Fire Department also assisted at the scene. The vehicles were moderately damaged and towed.
