Monroe Police

MONROE - Dennis Holcomb, 38, was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by Dubuque County Sheriff's Department, Iowa, in the 700 block 17th Street. Holcomb was jailed at the Green County Jail.

MONROE - Deputies completed an investigation of a vehicle crash that took place on May 22. An investigation determined the driver was Brian M. Detra, 19, Albany. Detra was traveling on Rechsteiner Road when he lost control of his vehicle as he tried to turn onto County F. The vehicle struck a power pole causing severe damage to the vehicle. Detra left the scene without reporting the crash. Detra was cited for failure to maintain control, a seatbelt violation, driving a vehicle without insurance, failure to notify law enforcement of a crash, a hit-and-run of property adjacent to highway, underage person transporting intoxicants, and unlawful use or possession of fire works. Detra was released pending court. Other charges are pending.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Alex D. Gertsch, 18, Gratiot, was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property at 8:02 a.m. Thursday on White School Road in the Town of Gratiot, following a disturbance at a residence. Gertsch was released.

• Maribel Cervantes Hernandez, 23, Darlington, was cited for driving with no driver's license at 10:35 p.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Darlington.
