Monroe Police

MONROE - Steven L. Moon, 50, Monroe, was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Brodhead Police Department for worthless checks at 1:35 a.m. Friday in the 1600 block of 9th Street. Moon was jailed.

On Saturday:

• John T. Matthews, 23, Monroe, was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department for possessing THC at 5:53 a.m. in the 1200 block of 16th Street. Matthews was jailed.

• Ralph F. Stammen, 60, Monroe, was arrested for bail jumping at 3:18 p.m. in the 700 block of 12th Avenue. Stammen was jailed.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Lindsey A. Yackley, 19, Janesville, was cited for a first offense of underage possession/consumption of alcohol at 6:07 p.m. Friday after the Wisconsin DNR reported a possible underage drinking violation on the Sugar River, near the W1200 block of Decatur Albany Road, Town of Albany. She was released.

On Sunday:

• Deputies, Brodhead Police and Albany EMS responded to Sweet Minihaha Campground, N4697 County E, Town of Decatur, at 3:40 a.m. for a fight between a male and female. As a result of the investigation, Samantha Jean Skoien, 22, Janesville, was arrested and released for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. She was jailed on a probation hold through Rock County. Travis Alan Lund, 21, with no permanent address, was arrested and released on disorderly conduct. Lund received injuries and was treated on scene by EMS.

• Paul A. Bennett, 50, Rochester, Minn., was arrested for DWI, first offense, after a traffic complaint of an impaired driver was received at 4:59 a.m. in the N9000 County CC, Town of Exeter. He was released. The Belleville Police Department assisted at the scene.



BRODHEAD Police

BRODHEAD - On Tuesday:

• Arthur B. Diedrich, 53, Shullsburg, was cited for speeding at 6:24 p.m. in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue.

• Nicole A. Breuing, 30, Juda, was cited for speeding at 7:18 p.m. in the 300 block of East 9th Avenue.

• Bailee J. Vickers, 19, Janesville, was cited for speeding at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of East 9th Avenue.

• Ronald W Phillips, 62, Brodhead, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 3:04 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block 1st Street.

On Friday:

• Rocco T. Roland, 30, Brodhead, was cited for driving without a valid license at 1:47 p.m., in the 900 block East 9th Avenue.

• Rebecca L. Myers, 28, Roselle, Ill., was cited for a seatbelt violation at 7:37 p.m. in the 600 block 1st Street.

• Alex J. Kosharek, 30, Janesville, was cited for speeding at 10:02 p.m. in the 600 block 1st Street.

On Saturday:

• Steven A. Burdick, 38, Janesville, was cited for speeding at 12:57 p.m. in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue.

• Crystal M. LaFortune, 28, Sun Prairie, was cited for speeding at 9:10 p.m. in the 800 block of East 9th Avenue.



DARLINGTON Police

DARLINGTON - Virginia Abarca-Ortega, 34, Darlington, was cited at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday for driving a vehicle without a license, second offense, following an incident at a residence located on Ravine Street. She was released.

• Daniel Sullivan, 36, Naple, Fla., was arrested at 2:47 a.m. Friday for driving a vehicle while intoxicated, following a traffic stop on Alice Street. Sullivan was also cited for driving a motor vehicle without a valid license.



NEW GLARUS Police

NEW GLARUS - On Monday, June 9:

• Russell Rylander, 53, was cited for violating the New Glarus ordinance that limits the number of dogs at a residence. The citation was the result of an ongoing investigation in the 600 block of Windlach Street.

• Police were dispatched to the 100 block of 5th Avenue at 3:47 p.m. for a check welfare on two dogs that were left unattended in a vehicle. Everything appeared to be fine.

• Amanda K. Way, 25, New Glarus, was cited at 5:39 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• Jacob E. Baker, 32, New Glarus, was cited at 6:03 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

On Tuesday, June 10:

• Robert V. Owen, 58, New Glarus, was arrested at 5:28 p.m. for an active body only warrant through the Green County Sheriff's Department. Owen was transported and booked into the Green County Jail.

• Police received a parking complaint at 6:43 p.m. at the 100 block of 4th Avenue.

• Douglas J. Halverson, 54, New Glarus, was cited at 7:40 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• Adam S. Rossing, 31, Argyle, was cited at 7:54 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

On Wednesday:

• Nicholas M. Wagner, 30, Fitchburg, was cited at 12:11 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• Andrew T. Bethard, 30, New Glarus, was cited at 1:39 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wisconsin 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Daniela K. Tsvetkova, 55, Madison, was cited at 3:57 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Taylor J. Disch, 19, New Glarus, was cited at 5:35 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• Timothy J. Conley, 31, Albany, was cited at 6 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Railroad Street at 5th Avenue.

On Thursday:

• Police located a person at 12:56 a.m. outside a business on Wis. 69 after hours. The area was checked and everything appeared to be fine.

• Olivia L.J. Halvorson, 25, Albany, was cited at 1:17 p.m. for driving a motor vehicle while revoked, failing to have vehicle insurance and a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Police were dispatched to an address at 1:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Glarner Drive for a 911 hang-up. It was found that the area was having phone problems.

• Kent P. Duerst, 66, New Glarus, was cited at 6:10 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• Michael J. Diederich, 44, Belleville, was cited at 6:44 p.m. for driving a vehicle without insurance on Railroad Street at 6th Avenue.

On Friday:

• Police were dispatched at 12:03 a.m. to the 100 block of 1st Avenue for a disturbance. Upon the completion of the investigation, Joshua D. Lemke, 41, New Glarus, was arrested for disorderly conduct under the domestic abuse law. He was jailed.

• Police responded to a reported dog bite incident at 1:08 p.m. that occurred in the 2400 block of Wis. 69.

On Saturday:

• New Glarus Police Department assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department at 6:53 p.m. with a bicycle accident on Windmill Ridge Road. New Glarus Area EMS and New Glarus Fire Department also responded.

• Officers received a report of a male subject urinating in an alley located in the 500 block of 1st Street at 8:57 p.m. After an investigation, Philip M. Panfil, 40, Naperville, Ill., was cited for urinating in public. He was released.

• Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of 1st Street at 10:19 p.m. to monitor crowd control and to deter a possible altercation. Subjects were dispersed and advised to leave the festival area.

On Sunday:

• Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 3rd Street at 11:24 p.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence. All parties were talked to and reports will be forwarded to the district attorney's office.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Saturday:

• Haleigh J. Falsey, 17, Argyle, was cited at 12:07 a.m. for underage alcohol consumption following a traffic stop on Wis. 78, Argyle Township.

• A deputy responded to Old Q road in Argyle Township at 7:06 p.m. for an injured animal.

• Travis R. Husom, 29, Mineral Point, was cited at 7:08 p.m. Sunday for speeding, following a traffic stop on Wis. 23, in Willow Springs Township.
