Monroe Police

MONROE - Ryan Lee Bergemann, 36, Brodhead, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, after police stopped a vehicle at Wisconsin 69 and 11th Street for having a headlight out. Bergemann was a passenger in the vehicle. Officers determined he had been drinking alcohol, a violation of a bond condition. Bergemann's signature bond was set Wednesday for $500. His plea/sentencing hearing in Green County Circuit Court is set for June 20.

- A vehicle egging was reported at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue.

- A warning letter was sent Tuesday, June 12, to a property owner in the 200 block of 27th Street to clean up an unregistered vehicle on blocks in the yard.

- A business in the 300 block of North 29th Avenue was warned at 8:48 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, not to mow grass clippings into the street.

- Two unlicensed peddlers selling meat door-to-door for the company Direct USA were reported in the 1500 block of Parkview Drive at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, June 13. Police escorted them to City Hall to get a vending permit.

- A resident in the 100 block of North 20th Avenue was warned to leash a dog after police responded at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, to a neighbor's complaint.

- A resident in the 2300 block of 17th Avenue was warned to quiet a barking dog after police responded at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, to a neighbor's complaint.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Matthew S. Michener, 25, Janesville, was cited for driving without a valid license at 6:14 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, in the W3700 block of Wisconsin 11.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Ellen M. Cragg, 43, Richland Center, was taken into custody at the Richland County Jail at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, on a valid warrant issued by Lafayette County for 13 felony counts of unpaid child support. She was transported to the Lafayette County Jail.

- Tammy P. Hohlstein, 47, Dodgeville, was arrested on charges of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession at 5:04 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Kendall. She was later released pending court.

- James M. Farrey, 25, Shullsburg, was cited for speeding at 4:31 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, on County O in the Town of White Oak Springs.
