MONROE - On Wednesday, June 12:
Thomas A. McLean, 25, New Glarus, was arrested after deputies responded at 2:57 p.m. to a disturbance in the W4100 block of County W in Exeter Township. He was jailed on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and cited for trespassing.
Mariah L. Beck, 22, Edgerton, was cited for driving with a suspended license after a deputy stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at 7:36 p.m. on 18th Avenue at Wisconsin 11/81 in Monroe.

MONROE - Ashley K. DeMeester, 22, Brodhead, was arrested in the 400 block of 8th Street at 6:09 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, on an outstanding warrant issued by the Stephenson County Sheriff's Department for theft. She was jailed.
Joshua A. Shaw, 22, Potosi, was cited for a restraining order violation at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, in the 500 block of 19th Avenue. The case is pending a court appearance.
On Tuesday, June 11:
A cat whose owner died recently and has been missing from the home was captured at 8:25 a.m. in the 100 block of 18th Avenue and taken to the Green County Humane Society.
A woman in the 1800 block of 7th Street reported at 8:27 a.m. that someone spray-painted a derogatory word on her vehicle. Her estranged husband is suspected.
A labradoodle captured in the 1800 block of 11th Street was returned to its owner. Police warned the owner for allowing the dog to run at large.
A pitbull was found running at large in the area of 30th Street and 11th Avenue at 11:30 a.m. Police were unable to capture it but warned the owner for allowing it to run loose.
Police were called at 11:48 a.m. to a follow-up report of continuing harassing text messages sent to a person in the 1500 block of 13th Avenue. Police have a suspect and are taking action.
A stray cat that has been hanging around a Colony Brands building in the 1300 block of 18th Street was reported at 12:24 p.m. The cat escaped capture.
A gray cat who answers to "Peyton" and has no collar was reported missing at 4:07 p.m. from the 1000 block of 29th Avenue.
A man reported losing his wallet in the area of Monroe Clinic at 5:30 p.m.
A duck with a dart in its neck was reported at 6:10 p.m. in the 1200 block of 12th Street. Police had been called the day before about the same duck. The bird again evaded capture.
A dog in a vehicle with all the windows rolled up was reported at 6:43 p.m. in the 200 block of 8th Street. The vehicle was gone by the time an officer arrived.
An employee at Kwik Trip, 1019 9th St., reported at 8:22 p.m. that a driver pumped $59 in gas and then left without paying. Police are investigating leads.
A resident in the 1700 block of 15th Street reported at 8:24 p.m. that his neighbors have been coming onto his property and taking his strawberries. He tried talking to them about it but they were rude, so he called police. The neighbors were warned.
A set of keys were found and brought in the police station at 9:18 p.m. The keys may have been found in the 2400 block of 12th Street. The keys may be identified and claimed.

A caller at 8:03 a.m. complained someone is going around the 3000 block of 15th Street and the surrounding area posting signs about a missing cat on utility poles. Police called the number on the signs and advised the person to post the missing-cat signs on bulletin boards instead.
A barking dog was reported at 10:23 a.m. in the 1500 block of 23rd Avenue. The dog had been taken inside by the time an officer arrived.
A dog in an unattended vehicle in the 200 block of 8th Street was reported at 1:30 p.m. An officer who stopped by found the concern for the animal's welfare unfounded since the windows were partially rolled down.
A gas drive-off was reported at 2:20 p.m. at Brennan's, 701 8th St.
A family member reported a 16-year-old boy as a runaway from his home in the 2200 block of Haven Lane at 5:47 p.m. The boy was entered into a national database for missing people. He is suspected to be nearby.
Police responded at 8:12 p.m. to the 1300 block of 16th Avenue for a dispute between teens over name-calling on Facebook and via text messaging.
A intoxicated 48-year-old man at Baumgartner's, 1023 16th Ave., was reported at 8:14 p.m. The tavern wouldn't serve him, and he was refusing to leave. Police turned him over to a family member.
A key was found by an officer in Monroe and brought at 10:57 p.m. to the police station, where it can be identified and claimed.

Gene A. Coplien, 57, Brodhead, was cited for two counts of passing in a no-passing zone at 11:08 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.
A deputy took a report at 7:33 p.m. of a dog bite incident that occurred on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.
