Monroe Police

MONROE - Clarence J. Heidenreich, 53, Monroe, was arrested at 2:19 a.m. Saturday for disorderly conduct and attempted theft in the 1600 block of 9th Street. Heidenreich was jailed pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Douglas B. Scace, 43, Browntown, was arrested at 7:32 p.m. Friday for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct, battery and intimidation of a victim after deputies responded to a domestic abuse report at a residence in the W8200 block of Wisconsin 11, Cadiz Township. Scace was jailed pending court.

• Derek R. Larson, 25, Beloit, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. Saturday at the Sweet Mini Haha Campgrounds, Decatur Township, on a Beloit Police Department warrant. Larson posted bond and was released.

On Sunday:

• Christopher Howard Stevens, 33, Monticello, was arrested at 11:28 a.m. in the Village of Monticello on a department of corrections warrant. Stevens was jailed pending court.

• Darrin W. Demrow, 25, Brodhead, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. for burglary, possession of burglary tools, criminal damaged to property, criminal trespassing and felony bail jumping at an abandoned business on Twin Grove Road, Town of Jefferson. Demrow was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• James A. Melton, 50, South Wayne, was arrested at 8:25 p.m. on a probation warrant on Wis. 78, Wiota Township. Melton was jailed pending court.

• Justin J. Nelson, 26, Argyle, was arrested at 8:58 p.m. for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of an unwanted subject at a residence on Galena Street, Village of Argyle. Nelson was jailed pending court.

On Friday:

• A deputy responded to a fireworks complaint on Colfax Street, Village of Argyle, at 12:35 a.m.

• A deputy took a report of theft of a vehicle at 4:44 p.m. on County Z, Seymour Township.

• A deputy was dispatched at 6:06 p.m. to a traffic complaint of a tractor driving on the wrong side of the roadway on County F, Fayette Township.

• A deputy responded to a fireworks complaint on Ingwell Road, Blanchard Township, at 9:14 p.m.

On Saturday:

• Steven S. Strossner, 24, Orangeville, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. for criminal damage to property after a deputy responded to a report of a subject damaging a vehicle on Center Street, Village of South Wayne. Strossner was jailed and later released to a responsible party.

• A deputy responded at 2:35 a.m. to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically on Wis. 23, Willow Springs Township.

On Sunday:

• A deputy took a report of a dog bite to humans at 2 p.m. on Spore Road, Wiota Township.

• A deputy responded at 6:20 p.m. to a report of criminal damage to property on Red School Road, Elk Grove Township.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - On Tuesday:

• Audra Snyder, 48, Brodhead, was cited at 8:53 a.m. for public nuisances affecting health in the 100 block of 7th Street.

• Justin D. Halvorson, 25, Brodhead, was arrested at 10:32 p.m. for disorderly conduct and failure to obey lawful order in the 100 block of 7th Street. Nicole M. Kazar, 20, Brodhead, was cited as a result of an incident at the address. Kazar was cited for disorderly conduct.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Police responded to a report of several stray cats in the 300 block of Heidi Court at 2:49 p.m. Monday, June 30.

• Police received a complaint at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday of alleged child abuse in Superior. The parent was advised on the proper procedure to report to Green County Human Services. Human services had been contacted at an earlier date by the complainant.

• Police attempted to locate a subject going door to door selling windows at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday. The subject was not located.

On Sunday:

• Several U.S. flags were recovered at 12:22 a.m. after being reported stolen. The investigation continues. The New Glarus Police Department asks that if a U.S. flag was stolen that the department be contacted.

• Police responded to a 911 call about a truck being stolen, but the caller stated the vehicle was returned and hung up. Police conducted a check welfare at 3:05 p.m. and determined everything to be OK.

• Police were notified at 5:58 p.m. of possible abuse that occurred in the village. Green County Children Youth and Families was contacted, and the investigation into the matter continues.
