DARLINGTON Police

DARLINGTON - William P. Blair III, 24, Apple River, Ill., was arrested on a valid warrant at 6:25 a.m. Monday after police stopped him on Galena Street.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Susan M. Broderick-Buell, 27, Madison, was arrested for substantial battery and disorderly conduct at 1:09 a.m. Saturday after she allegedly hit a 22-year-old Oregon woman with a bottle. The victim reportedly sustained minor injuries requiring medical treatment and first responders transported her to Monroe Clinic Hospital. According to a Monroe Police Department spokesperson, officers responded to a report of a fight in progress in the 1300 block of 17th Street and found a large crowd when they arrived. Kevin W. Haffele, 26, Monroe, was arrested and charged with obstructing or resisting an officer and disorderly conduct for allegedly trying to flee from an officer who was attempting to detain Haffele during the fight investigation. He posted bond and was released.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Dennis M. Komar, 39, Monticello, was arrested for disorderly conduct at 7:45 a.m. Monday after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the Town of Monticello. He posted bond and was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• Michael Aas, 55, Darlington, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone at 5:15 p.m. after police stopped him on County F in the Town of Fayette.

• Jarvis F. Witters, 37, Darlington, was arrested for operating while intoxicated and criminal damage to property at 5:16 p.m. after police responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Country Club Road in the Town of Seymour. He was released to a responsible party pending court.

• A downed tree was reported at 9:46 a.m. on South Dublin Road in the Town of Gratiot.

• The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and police received an animal poaching complaint, which turned out to be unfounded, at 10:24 a.m. on Godfrey Road in the Town of Willow Springs.

• Harassment was reported at 5:25 p.m. on Temple Avenue in Benton.

• A suspicious person was reported at 11:08 p.m. on Wood Road in the Town of Shullsburg.
