BRODHEAD Police

BRODHEAD - On Wednesday:

• A fraud complaint was reported at 12:57 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 25-year-old Brodhead man was cited for possessing marijuana at Head Gates Park in Brodhead.

• A 26-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 1:03 p.m. Thursday for possessing narcotics and illegal possession of prescription drugs in the 1300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Friday:

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 8:43 a.m. in the 400 block of 8th Street.

• A 46-year-old Brodhead woman was cited for inattentive driving after a motor vehicle crash in the 1700 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 19-year-old Janesville woman was cited for speeding at 9:33 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Friday:

• Brooke L. Nipple, 23, Argyle, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, hit and run and unsafe backing at 5:54 p.m. after she reportedly backed into a parked car in the 1200 block of 19th Street and drove off. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Nipple was released to a responsible party pending court.

• Jesse L. Hanson, 34, Monroe, was arrested and jailed for domestic-abuse-related disorderly conduct and battery at 11:56 p.m. following a domestic dispute in the 2600 block of 8th Avenue. A 62-year-old Monroe man suffered minor injuries as a result of the altercation, but he declined immediate medical attention.

On Saturday:

• Kaleb S. Ellis, 24, Troy, Ill., was arrested and jailed for operating while intoxicated and having open intoxicants in his vehicle after police stopped him at 3:22 a.m. in the 1000 block of Wisconsin 69. He was also cited for an unsafe lane deviation.

On Sunday:

• Dennis E. Carpenter, 22, Gratiot, was arrested and jailed on an outstanding Green County Sheriff's Office warrant for unpaid child support and bail jumping at 12:14 a.m. in the 1300 block of 17th Street

• Brandy A. Busjahn, 33, Mount Horeb, was arrested and jailed on an outstanding Iowa County Sheriff's Office warrant for issuing worthless checks at 4:23 p.m. in the 1600 block of 8th Street.



NEW GLARUS Police

NEW GLARUS - On July 13:

• Janet L. Pulvermacher, 59, Middleton, was cited for illegal tint at 5 p.m. after police stopped her in the 100 block of Wis. 69.

• Police assisted New Glarus Utilities at 5:28 p.m. after they observed a power line transformer trip in the 600 block of Wis 69.

• Police responded at 6:23 p.m. to an alarm on 2nd Street. They determined an employee of the business had accidentally set off the alarm.

On July 14:

• Police responded at 11:36 a.m. to a parking violation in the 200 block of Hoesly Drive.

• A man loading gravel outside a business was reported at 11:36 a.m. The man reportedly did not have permission to do so and he returned the gravel.

On Wednesday:

• Stacy R. Scott, 38, Verona, was cited for illegal tint at 5:42 p.m. after police stopped her in the 100 block of Wis. 69.

• Dustin R. Egger, 27, Monroe, was cited for not having insurance and a registration violation at 6:07 p.m. after police stopped him in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Police removed a large box from the road in the 1200 block of Wis. 69 that was blocking traffic.

• Police responded at 2:38 p.m. to a report of a large cloud of smoke near Old Madison Road. Officers determined the smoke was caused by a riding lawnmower that rolled over on someone, who declined immediate medical attention.

• Police assisted the Monroe Police Department at 7:55 p.m. with a call in the 300 block of Elmer Road.

On Thursday:

• A suspicious person was reported at 9:50 p.m on 3rd Avenue.

• A stray kitten that may have been injured by another cat was reported at 10:21 p.m. in the 1100 block of Wis. 69. By the time police arrived, the kitten had left the area.

On Friday:

• Chad L. Halvorsen, 31, Milwaukee, was cited for speeding at 6:57 p.m. in the 1000 block of Wis. 69.

• A burglary was reported at 11:48 a.m. in the New Glarus Industrial Park. The incident remains under investigation.

• A dog inside a locked vehicle was reported at 8:24 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street. Police unlocked the vehicle and transported the animal to the police department.

On Saturday:

• Police removed a road hazard at 11:31 a.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

• Jennifer E. Lewis, 29, Monticello, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 5:37 p.m. after police stopped her in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Jacob L. Baertschi, 23, Argyle, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 6:01 p.m. after police stopped him in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

On Sunday:

• Police assisted the Belleville Police Department at 12:18 a.m. by conducting an intoximeter test.

• A leather jacket stolen out of a motorcycle saddle bag was reported at 10:18 a.m. in the 1200 block of 5th Street.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Tyler J. Swedlund, 17, Browntown, was cited for operating after suspension and a seatbelt violation at 8:22 a.m. after police stopped him for speeding in the N5300 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Washington. He was released pending court.

• Jamie C. Barreau, 33, Monroe, was arrested on a Green County Warrant at 11:22 a.m. at the Green County Justice Center. Barreau was released after posting bond.

• Shane B. French, 46, South Wayne, was cited for operating without a valid license at 5:52 p.m. after police stopped him for speeding in the N5600 block of Wis. 659 in the Town of Washington. He was released pending court.

On Saturday:

• Brandon K. Jones, 29, Madison, was cited for operating after suspension at 12:01 a.m. after police stopped him in the N8800 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of New Glarus. He was released pending court.

• Jaclyn M. Peterson, 32, Sugar Grove, Ill., was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated at 12:34 a.m. after police stopped her in the N3200 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Monroe. Peterson, who was also cited for having open intoxicants in her vehicle and a defective tail lamp, was released pending court.

• Tyler J. Swedlund, 17, Browntown, was arrested and jailed for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct at 2:23 p.m. after police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the W8500 block of Schlappi Road in the Town of Cadiz.

• Tiffani L. Edwards, 23, Brodhead, was cited for disorderly conduct and littering at 10:22 p.m. after police responded to a report of a disturbance at the Sweet MiniHaha Campground in the Town of Decatur. She was released pending court.

On Sunday:

• Cheyenne T. Harmon, 21, Freeport, was cited for operating without a valid license at 4:41 p.m. after police stopped her in the N1900 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Clarno. She was released pending court.

• Andrew D. Walter, 24, Brooklyn, was cited for operating after suspension at 6:19 p.m. after police stopped him in the N6500 block of Wis. 104 in the Town of Albany.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Ana Garcia-Diaz, 26, Darlington, was cited for operating after revocation and an insurance violation at 1:35 p.m. after police stopped her on County F in the Town of Darlington.

• Reanna Parker, 34, Darlington, was cited for operating after suspension at 11:10 p.m. after police stopped her on Wis. 23 in the Town of Gratiot.

• A suspicious person was reported at 2:24 a.m. in West Center Street in South Wayne.

• A civil dispute was reported at 12 p.m. on County F in the Town of Darlington.

• A theft was reported at 2:28 p.m. on Johnson Road in the Town of Shullsburg.

• A suspicious person was reported at 11:29 p.m. on County B in the Town of Wayne.

On Saturday:

• Kaitlyn Caldwell, 28, Milwaukee, was cited for speeding at 7:10 p.m. after police stopped her on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

• Haley Tuescher, 17, South Wayne, was cited for speeding at 7:38 p.m. after police stopped her on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

• Bradley Butler, 20, Browntown, was cited for not having insurance and a registration violation after police stopped him on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

• Disposing of cattle carcasses was reported at 7:03 a.m. on Glenville Road in the Town of Shullsburg.

• A commercial alarm went off at 8:11 a.m. on Main Street in Benton.

• A traffic complaint was reported at 8:20 p.m. on Grant Street in Argyle.

• A traffic complaint was reported at 8:45 p.m. on County M in the Town of Wiota.

• A noise complaint was reported at 11:05 p.m. on County J in Benton.

On Sunday:

• Dillan Boeke, Freeport, and Morgan Burkart, 18, Winnebago, Ill., were arrested for disorderly conduct at 2:16 a.m. after police responded to a disorderly complaint on Louisa Street in Darlington. They both posted bond and were released.

• A noise complaint was reported at 12:46 a.m. on Park Street in Argyle.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 3:28 a.m. on Louisa Street in Darlington.

• A theft was reported at 6:20 a.m. on Faymont Road in the Town of Lamont.

• A theft was reported at 10:31 a.m. on County F in the Town of Willow Springs.

• A burglary was reported at 10:49 a.m. on Valley Road in the Town of Argyle.

• A civil dispute was reported at 7:40 p.m. on County N in the Town of Argyle.

• A noise complaint was reported at 10:15 p.m. on Main Street in Darlington.
